shub, absolutely... tear to grow ... there comes a time when muscles adapt to the workout you put them through... changing the workout and hitting different angles is one thing, but you wont accomplish much if you arent pushing yourself to complete failure and you still have strength to perform the negatives... if you arent achieving delayed onset muscle soreness, you are limiting your growth.

vlad, i run test with other things 2-3 times a year ... hgh is completely different... it is mostly used to heal nagging injuries and rehab faster after surgeries ... in order to see some muscle growth and development with hgh, it takes at least 6 months (to build or look like you would if you took aas for 2-3 months) ... and once you stop the hgh, the nagging problems come back... its like trt, once you get on it, you need to be ready to be on it for the rest of your days.... im told you do feel amazing though...im 41 and just not ready to step into it yet... :toast:

Why don't you guys that are working our regularly and religious with your diet at least run a cycle of test. enanthate at minimum? Maybe some HGH if you have $$

HGH isn't just about having the money. That's a whole new ball game. Most use it in between cycles. I have no use for it all the time, nor will I ever recommend it.

If that's what gets the job done for you guys, great. If it has more than 5 ingredients I'm not putting it in my body. Sometimes less is more.

So what all do you eat?

Just curious because just about everything has more than 5 ingredients.

the truth about hgh is really misunderstood... the monsters run it nonstop... but the muscular growth takes so long and thats why its a poor decision for the gym warrior who wants to get bigger... amazing stuff for skin , but i dunno the time line on those effects.

shub, i hope you are at least taking a multi-vitamin

by the way, you guys see how yolked up Favre is these days... no doubt on the trt and hgh train for life now... good for him... i bet he feels like a million bucks compared to his later playing days

Oh I know the "monsters" use it nonstop. One look at their jawbones tells all. lol They're also on 1k-1500mg of test a week too, or about 20x what the avg body produces in a week.

I have no use for it, nor does the average lifter. I'm also not at an age where I would consider it either. To each their own I guess.

Yea, no way I could eat the amount of food they eat, much less spend the time to prepare it and eat it as well. that's a full time job in itself. Working out is by far the easy part.

I would say the average is about 6000 calories. I've heard as much as 9-10k though, which I think is insane. I've also heard them get great results with 4-4500 as well (I think this is best).

Either way you look at it, it's A LOT of calories, and a total body shock basically the last 2 weeks when you eat just enough carbs to get through your workouts and flex on stage.

The dieting part I know I would never be able to handle. And, I couldn't talk myself into a tanning bed if my life depended on it.

Only fast food I eat would a double double every now and then. Everything else home cooked. Just look at the labels of the stuff you buy. If it has more than 5 ingredients I'm not messing with it, obviously there exceptions, but not many.

Insanity.
They will not gain 1 extra pound of muscle eating 11K calories vs 6K calories.
Just makes the cut they are going to have to get on take longer.

You have never been in a tanning bed before?

Nope. Never have and never will. I'm a ginger. Being white is fine by me. Sure, I know it may make me look a little more ripped, but I don't care. I don't think they should judge tans in competitions either.

I take about .9 grams of protein per pound of body weight per day.
I could probably get away with .8 or .7.

Actually recent studies have said that anything over .65 is overkill and has no additional effect.

I agree. My favorite bodybuilder of these times is Cedric McMillan. Not necessarily just because of his physique, but because of his interaction with his fans. The dude is easily approachable, and one funny dude. I can send him a message, and he will respond almost immediately.

You should see how much his diet has changes through the years. He used to eat a shit ton because he thought the extra food would protect his muscles(I'm talking 3 good meals, and 3 Fast Food meals a day), and the extra fat would be burned in cardio. Not so much anymore.

No matter how you look at it, it still takes a good amount of food to fuel the beast.
