Tough night last night. Nothing to do, but move on and hope for better results tonight.

The words are once again appreciated, more so in light of the fact that it was a losing night. Just goes to show the type of place therx can be. An internet community where everyone shares the same objective, and works together as a whole by providing information, insight, support, etc. Makes me believe I will be part of this for years to come. :toast:

Action play:

Phoenix Suns -6 (1.5)

Really a fade against a terrible road team in Dallas. Mavericks are 4-11, in their last 15 road games. They have lost those games by an average margin of 17.6 pts per game. :think2: Also, 4 of those 11 defeats on the road, have come at the hands of some of the worst teams in the league. To the Memphis Grizzlies, the Sacramento Kings, the Milwaukee Bucks, and most recently to the Oklahoma City Thunder who were playing without starters Jeff Green and Kevin Durant. The absence of starter Josh Howard, (3rd in pts for the Mavs), could not have come at a worst time for Dallas, as they can use all the points they can get, against a Phoenix team that has renewed their run and gun style of play under new coach, Alvin Gentry. Imo, Howard's offensive production will be sorely missed for a Mavericks team that has already struggled to score points on the road. Mavericks have failed to reach at least 90 points, in 4 straight road games. Also Phoenix, coming off of a 4 game losing streak on the road, and all signs point to this team playing this one, with an increased sense of urgency. The points have rarely mattered, when these 2 teams have faced off, as it usually a blowout one way or the other. I expect Phoenix to really take advantage of struggling road team in Dallas, that I don't think will be able to keep pace without Josh Howard in the line up.

Couple of bad nights, back to back. Luckily we have the whole week to work with, to make up for it.

In a bit of a rush, but would like to quickly say something about the Phoenix Suns, as a fan of the sport. They are a disgrace to the game, imo. Tonight's game was the cherry on the cake. To allow, a Mavericks team that has not hit 90 in their last 4 road games, to score 122, without starter Josh Howard in the lineup, is just sad. Suns' fans must be feeling miserable by now, with the way their team has performed this season. It looks like, it may be time to get back to the drawing board for Phoenix, and try to begin the rebuilding process. This team is going absolutely nowhere, and hasn't been for a long while now. They disgrace the game, imo, by refusing to play defense. All that talent, and so little to show for it. Somewhere, Terry Porter, is sitting on a couch and is laughing his ass off. I feel sorry for their fans, across the country. Assuming they haven't already given up all hope. Just a disgrace overall....

I got you a winner today .... nuggets -13

gl hang tough

GL with the play Hammer, but out of principle, I will not bet a heavy favorite giving that many points, (14 in this case) in any sport for that matter. For the same reason I won't bet a -300 ML in the MLB, or a -14 in the NFL. There is very little, to no value, imo, no matter the matchup, with these heavily taxed lines. When I see a number that high, it's either the underdog or nothing for me. Nonetheless, I hope this play cashes for you :103631605 GL tonight..
