Took a couple of losses last night, in what turned out to be an amazing game..At this point in the season, the level of competition is very high, and not much will surprise you one way or the other..For this reason, I think it is best to lay off, betting some of these high profile, and highly competitive games, and just move on to the baseball season, where there is still plenty of money to be made..The series bet on the Lakers, survived as they squeaked out a win on their home floor, and the future wager on them winning it all, is of course, still pending...For the time being, I will focus my energy on baseball, with a seldom bet here and there, on a basketball game...Suffice it to say, that although the possibility of betting a basketball game still exists, the room to make money is closing in on us quickly...It was an amazing season, where we hit at a 63% clip through 261 games bet!! The larger the sample size, the more difficult it is to hit at such a high percentage, and so I am especially proud of this season's accomplishments..Ended up with an overally record of 164-97, which put me at roughly 70 games above .500!! The Investment plays also did very well, hitting at a 77% clip throughout the regular season, with a 20-6 record...Next season, I will keep a thread just like this in the NBA forum, to keep track of all picks, and discuss all things related to basketball and gambling...I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to this thread, with their support/info etc....I look forward to doing this again next year, with the hopes of similar success...We are all in this together, and the power of collective thought cannot be overemphasized..So, I am looking forward to hearing from you guys next season! Don't be strangers to my thread...In the meantime, I will be focusing on the baseball season...The amounts I have been betting on games in the MLB will be increased, and more attention will be paid, to capping baseball games..At some point over the next few days, I will start a new thread in the Baseball forum, and all picks will be posted and recorded there..I look forward to seeing you guys there! Hey Spread, good to hear from you...
Depends how you define success, I guess....Between the 4 professional sports (Football, Basketball, Hockey, and Baseball), Baseball is undoubtedly my weakest...The game is very random!! With that being said I have been betting baseball seriously, for 4, 5 years now and I have profited each season. 2 of those season's we're grinds, though. To this point of this season, I've been hovering at around "even". Just recently made the decision to increase my bankroll, and betting amounts. I will be spending more time with the sport, in the summer months..When it's all said and done, I do expect to finish the season with a profit
