Vin's on the Yanks to get out of town with a win today. Hopefully the boys can hit those sinkers!

Jesus we are awful. My match hasn't been great lately either. I gotta do this while I'm sober. Vin drops his second in a row. See you guys tomorrow.

Cant blame yourself on that pick, it was the right call. Didn't know Yankees suck that bad. 2 ER off Bettis in 6 innings..

Gotta go with Tanaka on an extra night's rest, says Vin. The Twins are putting a lefty out there but we should pull out the win, and the fat end of the bullpen will be available if the game is close. (Well, Miller maybe not since he pitched a bit in the last Colorado game but we will still have Betances and Chapman.)

Thanks Baron. Finally an easy one tonight. Got Done BMC rested and ready backing up Papa Midnite tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the little Yankee boy will be in full Homer mode tomorrow so I'm going ahead and putting this one in. If he goes the other way, I'll double on the Twins (hopefully at a better line) tomorrow.

I still think at some point the Yanks will think about going to a 6 man rotation when Severino comes back.
The numbers clearly show Tanaka is much better on 5 days rest.
Either way, they could use Severino as that bridge to the big 3.

Thanks Indy. Just got word from our Italian friend. Yanks again today. Remember, Vin is a Yankees insider - he sits inside and watches every game!

I just checked and the line is virtually unchanged. Len mentioned going to a six man rotation when Severino returned but Charlie Brown officially put the kibosh on that idea this week. Said it would mess up the roster. For some reason. Didn't explain why.

Honestly though, our problem is not pitching, it's hitting. Let's get this win today and beat up those Twinkies!

Totally agree on Tanaka. But apparently Charlie Brown isn't a think outside the box guy, unless you wsnt to count things like telling batters with two strikes to suddenly try and bunt against a pitcher with an ERA north of Canada....

Let's see how El Mal de Ojo does coming out of the pen as set up man. Gotta like the sound of a five inning game! Good luck today!

Well, that was dramatic. We're essentially betting on the bullpen IMO soa lot of them are going to be that way...

Robovaldi (can he get back on track) vs Santana tomorrow. Bullpen is big. Take advantage...

No surprises today. Vin's on the Yankees for a sweep. We like to play the Twins says he. One fell off the truck yesterday and that had to really screw with them. Betances will be ready today and possibly Miller and Chapman if needed since we've got a day off tomorrow. Could be a high scoring game if Robo continues to be off but if "the good Nathan" shows up then obviously it might not be... (Way to go out on a limb there Vin!) Anyway, Yankees bringin the brooms this afternoon!

Watch the reply of the pathetic effort by Ellsbury on a ball that bounced at his shoe laces in the bottom of the 6th that with a little effort could have made it man on first with two outs instead of first and third with one out and opening the flood gates.
On the other hand, knowing this guy's injury history it might have cost him another trip to the DL.
Maddening.

This is truly a maddening game. I see why hardcore baseball guys have the reputation of being a bit nuts. Not like football or baskets at all. Whole different kettle of fish.....

Let's go Yanks, says Vin. We've got a great record against the Rockies in the stadium and they just played last night, dropping two of three in Miami. So second leg of a road trip for them. Bullpen locked and loaded and we're seeing Bettis for the second time in a week (and they're seeing Nova for the second time too but Vin says this factor helps you more when you lost thank when you won. Ie when you win tendencies stay the same when you lose you change and adapt.)
