I manage/list reo properties for banks and lending institutions (a RE broker specializing in Reo.) things are going surprisingly smooth. Almost all of the day to day is conducted through email, and my office manager is doing a great job acting on my behalf.
Back to the grind, I'm first on the waiting list for the big game. I'm hoping to regain some losses from last night plus the 1100 I just dropped on the carny games upstairs. It's officially the wsop here at the rio. Amazon room is starting to smell like the amazon! These disgusting kids have figured out the "4 bet" but they are lacking in the personal hygiene skills. I'm telling you, the hookers on Fremont smell better downstairs than the downstairs of the rio!
More proof that karma is BS...A guy gets up from the table. The kid pulls up in his powered wheelchair to fill his seat. He asks if anyone would trade him seats so he can see the community cards better. I am in the 5, I say no problem. I proceed to watch the deck run straight over this kid. The kid makes nearly 20k in about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, I am struggling to make a profit at a absolutely amazing table. If I could just find a spot!!!
Ended up making a pretty thin call on the river last night to drag a 13+k pot, then got verbally abused for my call from a kid that was 95lbs soaking wet. I'm usually pretty even headed. The kid wouldn't settle down, I tried to explained to him numerous times that if this loss made him that upset then he was playing well above the stakes he should be. I'm not a "tough guy" nor do I look for fights. I do pride myself in staying pretty active and am in what most would consider pretty good physical shape. I let the kid keep running his mouth while railing the game (just watching, not rebuying.) Eventually I had enough as well as did the rest of the remaining players in the game. I called the floor over and asked them to either remove the obnoxious kid, or I would have to. The floor insisted that the kid leave the cash area. He left while telling me "I will catch you somewhere else and take my money back." I laughed it off as the kid is literally a foot shorter and less than half my weight. After cashing out a hour later (FYI...+22k, all of my losses from the previous night plus a considerable amount.... Woohoo!!!) I went upstairs and ran into a friend at the craps table. We played for a bit and guess who walks up obviously considerably drunker and considerably "tougher." He decides this time to start pointing his finger into my face (he had to reach above his scrawny head to do so) and continuing to "threaten" me. I looked over the top of his head to the pit boss who was staring this way from the commotion. I told him "get this kid out of my face before I do something about it." The kid immediately started walking to the door screaming "come on outside, I'm whipping your ass and taking my cash back." Now, this has now went down twice in front of people I see numerous times a year at various poker series. I can't be "that guy" that got punked by the little kid from now until eternity at every series I see these people. We go outside, surprisingly enough no security follow. The kid swings at me, I grab the kids neck and pin him against the wall. Security now swarms. As myself and a few aquintances are explaining the situation LV's finest show up and put us both in cuffs. When it was all said and done, they released us both and told us to leave the RIO.
Guess who is seated in the 3 seat at my table in today's tournament? Should be interesting!

Update- made day 2 of the 4 max NLHE. I have a little above average chipstack. The kid ended up apologizing for his actions. Claimed he has a backer for the series but he basically lost all of his spending money in the game I busted him in. He said he had a few too many drinks also. The kid seems like a alright guy sober. He apparently has a little too much degenerate in him if he lost all of his cash in one poker session. I see it all the time though. Guys smash a certain stakes of play. They jump up in stakes only to lose it all in one session.
Harry- I will post the scenario of the hand soon.
