11/6 SUNDAY hangover day
AQUEDUCT
R1 - #7 Words of Praise (6-1) Pletcher, Brown, Clement, and Maker all with runners dropping to claiming ranks for the first time. I'll take Rosario on the speed horse.
R2 - #1 Mercante (2-1) logical favorite - working like a champ.
R3 - #6 Rosie's Alibi (7-2) had a pretty easy go of it to break her maiden at Parx - stepping way up here, but bred to improve with the added distance.
R4 - #5 Scramble (7-2) has shown plenty of interest in first two tries, now brings a bullet to the party.
R5 - #4 Smokin Hot Kitty (6-1) Kitten's Joy filly has improved with every race. Now stretches out and drops in class.
R6 - #6 Nabakov (4-1) won his last on 9/17 and hasn't raced since - but has FIVE published works in that time. I see a big run coming.
R7 - #4 Cascais (5-1) troubled trip in a sloppy debut, a good start and he could make every post a winning one.
R8 - #1 Tapple Cider (12-1) I've backed her in her last two tries and lost, but willing to go one more with the addition of JC to the team.
R9 - #4 Champion's Dream (3-1) obviously didn't care for the slop in the Champagne - rebounds today.
R10 - #3 More Than Work (7-2) hasn't been seen since February at The Fairgrounds - raced well there on a turf track that favored closers. His style plays better here - as long as he's fit.
WOODBINE
R1 - #7 Newport Agent (10-1) improving (66,74,80,82) - no reason to think he's hit his ceiling.
R4 - #7 Classy Whisper (10-1) always in the mix - I'm taking anything better than 5-1.
R9 - #5 Green Fleet (12-1) claimed by a brutal trainer so the odds will stay high, but Stein stays so I will, too.
