11/20 SUNDAY rebound day?

AQUEDUCT
R1 - #8 Conquist (7-2) was the victim of a poor ride by Carmouche in last or he would not be facing maidens again. Gets blinkers today and only needs to hold off Irad in the stretch - "only".
R2 - #2 American Hustle (9-2) first try on dirt doesn't scare me at all. Reunited with Rosario (scalding hot right now), who gave him a very nice ride two back.
R3 - #6 Small Pebbles (10-1) okay, #5 Stonewall Star should have her way with this field, but at 2-5 (or thereabouts) I have to look elsewhere. Pebbles Beyers are very light, but she's 2 for 2 with a stakes victory in her arsenal.
R4 - #8 Golden Alchemist (6-1) should LOVE the switch to grass. Hasn't missed a workout since clunker in late September suggests CB figured out the problem?
R5 - #1 Modern Love (5-1) just because she's so damn well-bred.
R6 - #8 Mesaoria (8-1) has improved with every try - I expect further improvement in 2nd off the break. I also love when the dam side has Kingmambo blood in a turf mile event.
R7 - #8 Messidor (7-2) this will be my biggest play today, so feel free to fade at your leisure.
R8 - #3 Motion to Strike (8-1) The bug boy scares me, but I feel like this one can take them wire to wire.
R9 - #4 Ruvies in Time (3-1) does her best work at the Big A and Noda is extremely dangerous 2nd off the claim.
R10 - #11 Just Say When (6-1) he shouldn't have any trouble getting to the front from the outside post.

R6 - #1 Dialed A Dame (5-1) interesting change in tactics after the claim. Assuming he's on the lead again today I expect he has a good shot at holding off this rancid bunch.
R8 - #6 Bank On It (5-1) nice run in debut at Delta, will appreciate the extra furlong.

AQUEDUCT
R1 - #7 Deniece of Disgrace (6-1) switches surfaces, adds the blinkers, and lures the hot jock.
R2 - #4 Holey Matrimony (6-1) If this kid can ride.
R3 - #2 Hydra (4-1) loves the track and has proven she can go back to back.
R4 - #1 Luni Sima (5-1) big, big jockey upgrade.
R5 - #5 Ramblin Wreck (15-1) the dam side is pretty strong for a turf mile event and although he failed in the Grade 3 Pilgrim, he was in the mix. Hoping he's overlooked and I get a nice, fat price.
R6 - #1 Athenry (6-1) always gives a good effort - doesn't need the lead so the rail shouldn't hurt him.
R7 - #3 Summer Takeover (5-1) tote will tell the story, but the breeding says all systems go for debut.
R8 - #2 Jaxon Traveler (6-1) rough trip in the Bold Ruler - was in fine form prior to that and should make amends today.
R9 - #1 Highest Honors (5-1) won't get that price, but looks solid anyway.
R10 - #7 Itsallcomintogetha (12-1) I expect a hot pace for him to close into.

R1 - #5 Creme De Bali (5-1) there is zero speed signed on for the race meaning this guy should be able to set easy enough fractions to hold off the closers.
R2 - #6 Mean American (5-2) another pace play as Parker should be able to sit right off the cheap inside speed and pounce late.
R3 - #1 Star Syzygy (2-1) concerned about the drop to $10k, but still looks worthy of a single. Tote will tell.
R4 - #1 India Ink (5-2) don't you just love seeing a $300k colt running for $5k?
R5 - #6 Beleout (6-1) very consistent filly who will be thrilled to be back at Fairgrounds - 5-2-2-0 here.
R6 - #8 Touchdown Joe (12-1) not fond of the chalk here, so will go with a price in a wide open race. Only concern is Beschizza is so cold he couldn't win with Flightline right now.
R7 - #5 Nomadic Pride (6-1) quite a few angles point to this filly being quite competitive today. I really like this one.
R8 - #4 Helaire (4-1) big time money burner finally figured out how to win racing for Mouton. A repeat of last effort is all it will take.

GULFSTREAM
R7 - #9 Starlight Walker (20-1) will be sent and gets a big weight drop. Rumor has it the kid may have some talent in the saddle.

first 3 races in the books -
R1 - stumbles badly leaving the gate and almost unseats the rider.
R2 - fix is in as the #1 gets bet down to favorite at the bell and shoots off like a rocket - we get up for 2nd.
R3 - flashes speed out of the gate and looks good, then suddenly breaks down and can't finish.

Time to start drinking.
