2/22 WEDNESDAY

GULFSTREAM going with a no-Irad hump day today. Not going to touch him at all. Suicide? Probably.

R1 - #9 Domi (9-2) EJ has a horrible record this meet, but she's more than competent on a 2x dropper back on preferred surface with 2nd time Lasix.
R2 - #3 The Twins Sneakers (5-1) notorious nibbler (1 for 16 with 6 shows) gets claimed and then
R3 - #5 Bobby's Candy (5-1) has never tried AW before today, but I've seen pretty good results from Candy Ride offspring on the surface. Pretty big drop in class as well. Might be a surprise at a good price.
R4 - #4 Cloud Storage (3-1) Just re-watched his maiden-breaker and that was a nice performance. Claimed by Casse and he's worked him twice before entering here. I'm confident the hike in class is warranted.
R5 - #7 Krypton (8-1) well-bred gelding finally makes a start in the basement. Barn is money 2nd off the claim - now or never.
R6 - #3 Bali Baby (3-1) looks like she's sitting on a big one 2nd off the layoff.
R7 - #6 Marley Luck (4-1) didn't like the grass in last try, now moves back to her preferred tapeta and gains the services of the hot jockey.
R8 - #2 The Mrs (3-1) jumped 13 Beyer points with the addition of Lasix - now in 2nd start with the big L, she gets an extra furlong to run into.
R9 - #7 Masterofthesenate (9-2) I love when an older horse wins on debut, then sees steadily increasing Beyers. Add the class drop today and we've got a live one.

FAIRGROUNDS
R1 - #5 Unbridled Annsley (5-1) wide open maiden race, went here due to Sherer's positive ROI in 1st starts off the claim as well as the 2nd time blinkers angle.
R2 - #3 Mo Moves (6-1) sharp 4f work last Saturday is the most recent of FOUR since debacle at Delta on 1/20 and may signal that Amoss finally has him fit.
R3 - #1 Kid Ketchum (3-1) will look like a man amongst boys in the paddock - should look like that on the track as well.
R4 - #2 Toddchero (4-1) finished a nose behind Distorted Pro in the Sugar Bowl and should be at least double the odds of that foe today.
R5 - #7 Olivia G (7-2) still a maiden after four consecutive place finishes (3 of those within a length) and now makes second stakes try. She has speed, but doesn't need the lead like the other contenders in here, so she may be able to turn the tables today.
R6 - #2 Ice Time (8-1) big jockey upgrade for 2nd turf try signals big improvement.
R7 - #1 Allnight Moonlight (9-2) really the only one I can see with a chance to beat the heavy favorite.
R8 - #5 Shoplifter (6-1) started her career as a damn good sprinter before Kenneally got greedy. Back where she belongs.
R9 - #9 Crump (7-2) 3 for 3 in the exacta on this track. Love the connections, love the works, love the surface and distance for him, basically love everything about this gelding. A 6-9 exacta box looks mighty tasty.
