7/1 - I absolutely LOVE today's card. Therefore, all signs point to a horrible day...
BEL
R2 - #2 Diamond Hands (3-1) second time blinkers after being caught very wide (but only beaten by two lengths) in last try. The 7f should fit nicely.
R4 - #3 Chulainn (5-1) won the last two tries when second off the layoff, and the two that finished ahead of him in last month's comebacker at Pimlico finished with a win and a place to flatter that race a bit. He'll be flying late for an exciting finish.
R5 - #4 Northern Invader (6-1) should love the switch to grass and, with that improvement, can crush this field.
R6 - #5 Fort Bragg (8-5) Nice try in the Pat Day is followed up by the addition of blinkers - which he wore to break his maiden. Won't pay much, but a win is a win.
R8 - #11 More Than Work (12-1) I love the horse, but hate the post. However, looking deeper, he has run very well when breaking from the far outside zip code in the past. Worth a shot at big odds.
R9 - #6 Sheriff Bianco (10-1) I realize he's punching a bit above his weight class here, but he's ALWAYS in the mix and I love the reunion with Lezcano.
