7/1 - I absolutely LOVE today's card. Therefore, all signs point to a horrible day...

BEL
R2 - #2 Diamond Hands (3-1) second time blinkers after being caught very wide (but only beaten by two lengths) in last try. The 7f should fit nicely.
R4 - #3 Chulainn (5-1) won the last two tries when second off the layoff, and the two that finished ahead of him in last month's comebacker at Pimlico finished with a win and a place to flatter that race a bit. He'll be flying late for an exciting finish.
R5 - #4 Northern Invader (6-1) should love the switch to grass and, with that improvement, can crush this field.
R6 - #5 Fort Bragg (8-5) Nice try in the Pat Day is followed up by the addition of blinkers - which he wore to break his maiden. Won't pay much, but a win is a win.
R8 - #11 More Than Work (12-1) I love the horse, but hate the post. However, looking deeper, he has run very well when breaking from the far outside zip code in the past. Worth a shot at big odds.
R9 - #6 Sheriff Bianco (10-1) I realize he's punching a bit above his weight class here, but he's ALWAYS in the mix and I love the reunion with Lezcano.

GP
R1 - #7 Beganingreenpoint (7-2) drops in class after a sub-par effort, but his best certainly fits and he will offer fair value with all the $$ going to the Saffie runner.
R3 - #2 Solid Tune (5-1) claimed for $30k and now drops to $12.5? Red flags, but a sharp gate work last week offers hope.
R9 - #2 Almanzo (15-1) drops 10 pounds and tries the AW course for the first time. Has been working very well. Sanchez hits at 40% when going from dirt to synthetic.

Looks like they scratched the #2 in Race 9 at Gulfstream. I'll replace that play with another longshot -

BEL
R4 - #4 Baby Sox (12-1) stepping up to much tougher company, but she still has room to improve off that maiden win. Like that Franco stays with her.

BEL
R5 - #5 Strictly Taboo (7-2) has improved with each added furlong in her first three tries. Another step in the same direction wins the prize.
R6 - #4 Pineapple Man (9-2) Maker runs him in a pair of sprints after the 1-year layoff. Now goes his preferred mile distance in third try. Just seems like a perfect set-up. He's also never finished out of the money under Double D.

PRX
R1 - #6 Esor (5-2) made the lead before tiring against tougher. Back to the proper level today and should have no problem with this group.
R3 - #6 Anna Volante (3-1) I absolutely think this mare will improve in the second run for Catalano. I would be worried about the #2 and lay off, except the worst jockey at Parx has the mount on that one, so fire away.
R6 - #2 Dixie's Two Stents (7-2) best horse in the race if he's fit. Ness has been en fuego lately, Hoping for at least 2-1.
R7 - #4 Mr. Briggs (4-1) Drops 10 pounds from his last try at these conditions going 7f. That was a great effort - just missed in a nice closing run. Sofia has shown herself to be very strong with late running types. A lot to like here.
R10 - #2 Omerta Code (8-1) he's only tried the grass once, and it's buried way back, but it was a nice try at Del Mar last fall against much tougher competition. Could surprise at nice odds.

R4 - #6 The Jones Boy (5-1) is dropping waaay down the ladder, but... gets a huge jockey upgrade. Well-meant here?
R7 - #1 Ebben (5-1) Padilla loses him in a $15k claim, then turns around and claims him back for $25k. Now enters him for $40k after his 4th consecutive victory. All this 8 year-old does is bounce between barns and win.
R8 - #3 Angel Of Harlem (5-2) has come back with a pair of eye-opening works after a near miss debut. Lock city.
R10 - #7 Bluey (4-1) drops back down to the level where he lost by a head two starts back. He was even money favorite in that one, but won't be favored here, so I'll give him a try (and hope it's a wet track).

R3 - #10 Hardly Mischievous (6-1) a couple of nice published works and barn is well-known for having them ready after a layoff. Glad they're done messing around and putting him back on the grass where he belongs.
R5 - #9 Graceful Kitten (4-1) poor guy was sired by Kitten's Joy for $50k and then went at auction for just $8,500. Must have looked like Tom Brady at the NFL draft combine. But, he has managed to win almost $200k in 36 races and now, after being claimed in last, gets first start for a competent barn in a long time.
R7 - #3 Gunoe (8-1) million dollar gelding at Horseshoe? I like the move to turf as well as the blinkers coming off.

Gut punch as all three selections run second. What could have been...
