Both teams will be moved up to the A Division as they meet in the final. The game is being played in Bosnia and B&H is a double digit favorite and won 71-50 in the opener. It does concern me that the score was so low but it was the opener. However, the semifinal wins reached 160 and 161 points. Hopefully, both teams will relax and we get a game in the 140's.

The home team has reached 104, 95, 99 and 89 points but did play a 73-64 (137) game with Portugal while Belgium has totals of 100, 58, 75, 92, 92 and 91.

Nurkic, Glogovac, Buza, Vrabac, Lecomet, Bako and Vanwijn are decent players who can score in the game. GL!

NBA and WNBA games have favorites of about -15 whereas you get college games in the -30 ceiling. In today's Centrobasket (women's) you see Puerto Rico -50 over Costa Rica. Cuba was -54 over CR yesterday. Usually, I look to play big underdogs or play over a low total or under a high total.

All four games had low scores yesterday and that does concern me but it should allow teams to get over their jitters and get used to the conditions. Cuba is the best team and Puerto Rico is good as well. PR beat Dom Republic 70-27 but the losers only made 8 of 44 shots and just 2 of 12 3-pointers. Mexico beat Costa Rica 74-44 and they are the home team with the event being held in Monterrey. These two played a 79-78 game at the 2012 women's Centrobasket. DR played some low games in the CBC but had higher scores in the end of 2013. Monsac, Santos, Morton and Estrella are decent players who can score. I may be wrong but think we can get into the mid-120's and over.

Puerto Rico is 3-0 while the Virgin Islands are 2-1 with wins over weak teams like Jamaica and El Salvador. This game is the semifinals and the 4th game in 4 days. Puerto Rico has crushed opponents so far as they have won by 65 over Costa Rica, by 34 over mexico and by 43 over the Dominican Republic. I am hoping that PR will be looking ahead to playing Cuba in the finals. Cuba won the title in 2012 by 15 over PR.

The Virgin Islands beat Jamaica and El Salvador and only lost to Cuba by 60-50. They lost to Cuba by 15 back in 2012. They have Natalie Day, who had 26 points and 14 rebounds vs. Cuba. They also have Carey, Bough, Richards and Victoria Hamilton. They are not deep and this could be a concern. Hopefully, we see a low scoring game in the 70-50 range and the underdogs stay within the number. GL!

Peru is 0-3 and was smashed by good teams in the semifinals. They lost yesterday to Chile by 15 as they made 10 3's. Paraguay is 1-2 and just beat Ecuador by 10 points. Both teams are playing their 4th game in 4 days and should have tired legs and will have to play a fifth game. I hope to see Paraguay win by 80-62 and then move on to play Chile for 5th. Hopefully, we see Monges, Manuel, Bellatin and Saldano score some points. And Fernando Fung as well. I won't be shocked to see the favorite win by 25 to 30 points but let's go with Peru +22 based on what I have written.

Germany vs. Georgia

These two play Monday afternoon and it is the last game of the opening rounds of Division B. Germany beat Austria by 101-50 in a recent game but other wins were by 2 over Iceland and 30 over Israel. Seems like Germany should be in Division A. Georgia should be in Division C (except they only have A and B) as they are bad and stand 0-4. They did lose by just 8 to Iceland and made 12 of 25 3's and lost by 21 and by 30 in a game where they were just 1/2 from the FT line. They are led by Isiani and Zakradzee. They have two guys named Gogoberishvili and Gugeshashvili, which would be difficult for the announcers.

Germany will advance to play Slovenia on Wednesday so I am hoping they will take it easy and play backups and only win by 30 to 32 points. This game may be hard to find at some books. GL!
