The evidence is not in your favor.

There is not one, single shred of proof that the universe is anything but billions of years old. The bible doesn't even mention it, all this young Earth nonsense is based on the interpretation of 19th century morons.

That Dawkins video is doctored.

First cause proves God's existence. Everything came from matter. Science says that the matter cannot be created from nothing and that it's eternal and cannot be destroyed, yet it's here. The fact that the matter is here contradicts all scientific laws. According to science, the matter which makes you up, cannot exist on it's own, therefore, there MUST be a God who has power over the laws of the universe and able to create the eternal matter from nothing and did so.

To our puny human minds, everything must have a beginning and an end. Since time is purely a human concept, there is no logical reason to believe that an infinite universe(s) must have a beginning. Perhaps, in some form or another, it has always existed.

I'm not a fan of the Big Bang, but not knowing how we got here is no reason to believe that Poofy the Wonder God zapped everything into existence.

Very eloquently stated; with due respect, the only question I've asked many times was, "what was nothing" before it became something? I don't mean to get too heavy here.

MAck,

God is outside the time domain, it is easy for Him. How would you communicate with an ant? Best way would be to become an ant.

That's not true. Matter and anti-matter combine to create energy. The reverse is also true. It is possible to take energy and split empty space to create equal amounts of matter and anti-matter. The question that arises from that is "where did the energy come from?"

frodo, u don't know how everything was made. it's ok to admit it. science doesn't claim to know. it might give an educated guess but at least it answer isn't science is all powerful and knows and can do anything.

It is in man's nature to mystify that which he cannot explain.

Ah yes, Chuck Missler. I have some Chuck M. mp3's that I've listened to. Chuck speaks on things that he doesn't have full knowledge of. Let me give you an example.

Chuck talks about the genetic code. He mentions that if one gene of the human DNA strand were to change per second that it would take billions of years for humans to evolve. The part that Chuck is woefully unaware of is that genetic changes take place at a higher rate than 1 per second and that more than 1 change can take place at a time. Genes are not always directly affected by every other gene in the code so that they have to wait until one gene changes before another gene changes.

I wish Chuck would get his act together. He makes some good points. He should just be more informed and he would be more convincing.

I do know how everything originated. It came from God. Your and My existence is proof since matter, energy, darkmatter, anti-matter, atoms, electrons, protons, neutrons, quarks, neutrinos, waves, oh and uh...people, according to the laws of science CANNOT exist on their own, yet here they are for all to see and observe and even learn from in a process which we call...science. God is good. New definition...Science is the study of everything that God has created. You would never find that in a school textbook.

It sure is hard to figure out what "nothing" was before it became "something".

I guess we shouldn't bother ourselves with somethings that we are unable to figure out. Just keep more then a "little" faith.
