The NBA is very fortunate the senile old fart didn't control of his estate anymore. His wife had him evaluated by doctors to determine if he was mentally competent to remain serving as one of the co-trustees. Once that was done, all that was left was the paperwork. It's like a power of attorney - if you sign one, your family can totally screw you.

It's not just the Clippers, Donald Sterling has no control over his estate.

To say the guy got screwed is a major understatement.

Any other owner and the whole thing would have gotten extremely nasty for the NBA.

Very true. But there is a degree of insanity that exists there. Like you would be at a 2 in terms of insane... me about 4. Joe, Dave, Russ, and Acebb.... 10. Willie used to be a 5. Now he's up there around a 9ish rating. When you start joining forces with someone like Joe, it's all downhill from there. Real life psychos.
