Since the sale of the Clippers is a forced sale, Mr. Sterling may not owe any taxes on the huge gain he gets from selling the team. The NBA did Mr. Sterling a huge favor it seems.

The dude is getting 1.25 billion more than Forbes had its estimated value at - the old Jew has made off like a bandit and then some

Yea huge favor. Forced him to sell his team that he didn't want to sell. I can't believe some people honestly think he wanted money. He has money. He wanted the clippers in his family for life. Poor fella.

Seems Mr. Sterling may have dementia. So it boils down to a case of elder abuse against Mr. Sterling. Adam Silver and the rest of the NBA that went along with this should be ashamed of themselves.

Business is business. The NBA did what they had to do to maintain their brand. It is kind of sad but the dudes history certainly didn't help.

Adam Silver and Company have tarnished the NBA brand!

His history could not of been that bad (see below). But soon as he got old and senile, the NBA were quick to throw Mr. Sterling under the bus! The elder abusers responsible at the NBA make me sick.

The Los Angeles NAACP are short sighted whores, it's like some-not all-cities where if you pay your dues to Better Business Bureau, you can screw over poor, blind septuagenarians, they'll still report you as having a good rating. Sterling threw money at them, so they would've showed up at his house to pick cotton if necessary. Just makes both of them hypocrites-I assume you are aware that they withdrew the award when the shit hit the fan...

They withdrew their lifetime achievement award to Mr. Sterling after he got old and got dementia. So everything up to now is for naught. And UCLA returned $425,000 recently donated by the Donald T. Sterling Charitable Foundation for kidney research and will cancel an agreement that would have brought Sterling’s gift to $3 million over seven years. Seems to me they are not really serious about kidney research at UCLA.

If you are university in California, don't take tainted money for research for medical cures! But its ok to pepper spray the students:

rejecting the money for research shows how incredibly stupid liberal bureaucrats are, some delusional public perception is more important to them than actually succeeding

and how could the local chapter of the NCAAP decide to honor a racist? what standards were they using when they made this decision? we know why they rescinded it, but did they award it in the first place?

in Libtardville, they can't comprehend the nuances of the position I'm taking, so they'll do what silly shallow people must do, say this post is racist.

some chicks swallowed more of my IQ than libtards possess.

Good morning bitches, have a great week

You wouldn't know a "nuance" if it bit you in the groin, you crusty, brain dead racist turd, I already answered how the NAACP did what it was about to do, but ultimately reneged on...

Attorney: Donald Sterling says no to Clippers deal, suit is on

http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/...lippers-sale-lawsuit-is-on-lawyer-says-060914

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has pulled his support from a deal to sell the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and will pursue his $1 billion federal lawsuit against the NBA, his attorney said Monday.

"We have been instructed to prosecute the lawsuit," said attorney Maxwell Blecher. He said co-owner Donald Sterling would not be signing off on the deal to sell.

Donald Sterling issued a one-page statement dated Monday titled "The Team is not for Sale" and said that "from the onset, I did not want to sell the Los Angeles Clippers."

''I have decided that I must fight to protect my rights,'' Donald Sterling said. ''While my position may not be popular, I believe that my rights to privacy and the preservation of my rights to due process should not be trampled. I love the team and have dedicated 33 years of my life to the organization. I intend to fight to keep the team.''

Poor little piss ant from Alaska that knows everything from the books he read - devoted months of his life to this thread too - not sure he will recover but I'm sure he will post 100x more in this thread

Sterling is really a fucken loon - he was getting a total win fall - an extra 1.25 billion over expected value and that's not good enough - WTF? at some point you won the war - you can stop killing people and relax with your riches

Donald Sterling Lashes Out at NBA: The Clippers Are Not for Sale

Donald Sterling isn’t giving up.

The embattled owner of the Los Angeles Clippers said Monday he intends to “fight to keep” the basketball team, despite his lawyers' announcement that he had agreed to sell the Clippers to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.

“From the onset, I did not want to sell the Los Angeles Clippers. I have worked for 33 years to build the Team,” Sterling said in a statement released to NBC News titled “The Team is not for Sale.”

As a point of fact, the LA Clippers have not yet been sold.

This all reminds me of a "Saturday Night Live" skit during the 1984 Presidential election, where Regan won every state but Mondale's home state of Minnesota. The skit showed members of Mondale's team at rally, with a map of the US and Minnesota brightly highlighted, talking excitedly about how solidly ahead they were there(and overlooking the obvious fact that Minnesota wasn't gonna be quite enough to carry them over the top, lol). Same with these clowns: it's all over but the shouting, but they still cling to the desperate hope that they were right, and we were wrong

Your posts on this Web site are complete parody.

This is a fantastic contrast.

When it was reported Sterling is suing (to fight the sale of the team, which the dumb troll lied about) we get:

The team has been sold. His lawsuit after the fact means nothing to me.

Then, after Sterling apparently changed his mind, we get:

Lmao!! It just keeps getting better and better. Game is officially over. Good luck on the next one guys.

Donald Sterling won't pursue lawsuit

Don't worry, to the lying troll, the contrast makes total sense.

Why?

Because when your whole act is to say 1 (stupid) thing, have it refuted, then say another thing that turns out to be true, you just repeat the 1st thing.

Remember, lawsuits that mean "nothing" totally vindicate people who said they mean "nothing" when they are dropped (and restarted).
