Mizzou 57 - Illinois 42
Northwestern 27 - Illinois 10

I'll give the nod to Mizzou on offense, but not sure how you can argue that the Tigers are better than NW defensively. Cats a bit underrated in that category, imo.

Damn it, NC+7 looking real good but the over might be hard to hit now, hope NC keeps rolling in the second half but we need some poins from Rutgers too for the over to hit!

You really can't compare scores like this. For one thing the Missouri/Illinois game was the first game of the season played on a neutral field. Neither team knew exactly what they had or what the other team was going to do. First games are very seldom a barometer of what a team is after 12 games. Just like I think Ohio State is a better team now than the one who lost to USC 35-3. Illinois didn't look like the same team they were last season. Don't forget, they may have lost to NW 27-10. But they also lost to Western Michigan two weeks before that.

Fundamentally, I agree, Missouri should blast this team.

I'm just curious as to what Finkel can do to motivate a team who had title hopes as a possibility earlier in the year and get stuck playing in a game 3 days before New Years vs a mediocre Big 10 team.

First, its Pinkel. Finkel was in Ace Ventura. The same can be said about Mizzou last season when they got snubbed for a BCS game and then came out and kicked the dog shit out of Arkansas. Missouri will win this game ugly.

One problem that we've had is the Rutgers kicker has cost us 4 points in this game. We would be about halfway to the total if it wasn't for that. Also NCST getting the ball in poor field position hasn't helped. But that was a great drive before the half. I really like this Wilson kid.

Yeah me too and that drive was really necessary for the over to even stand a chance. We still got plenty of football left, let there be points!!!

Russell Wilson getting knocked out of the game just cost us the over total. I hope it didn't cost us the spread.

I just saw him run back out on the field. We'll see if he plays. The ESPN announcers are a poor source of information. I'll believe he's out when I see it.
