Game over...Looking back, I think the Rutgers kicker missing that extra point set off a chain of events that ended up costing me the total. Oh well. We don't have any control over special teams plays, QB's getting hurt etc..At least we got the cover.
I've been meaning to ask you why you stopped playing the totals. To tell you the truth, I've played a couple more totals than I orginally planned to play. If I'm going to play a total, I prefer the under in these bowls. Although that's probably not a good idea when the Big 12 teams are involved. At any rate, I've got one more total on the board with Nebraska that I put in last week. And then I'm done. My biggest mistake in this game was playing the side and total. Something I prefer not to do. I had played the total first for this game. But I never thought they would bet this line up to 9. When it hit that number I had to give it a shot.this is exactly why i've stepped back from playing totals since the 2nd half of the season...i only have one for the bowls that i played...bottom line, both teams will play to win, but in reality, neither coach cares if they win a high-scoring game or a low-scoring game...so when picking a side, you have less variables imo than a total, which is almost like a prop bet, like over/under on yds, completions, sacks, etc...
