My opinion on Laveon Bell, if he comes around to you and there is nobody there that you value as a stud or is a game changer, you take him. I am not drafting him for The first 3 weeks, I am drafting him for when it comes playoff time. Yes, those first 3 weeks you could lose and not even make the playoffs. But if you draft accordingly, and know what you are doing, you can put together a very formidable lineup for those 3 weeks. Having him in the playoffs outweighs him missing 3 games to me... and by a lot.

Yeah I agree, I wouldn't shy away from taking LB late in the first round. But he's not a top 5 pick anymore.

Here are the first 3 rounds. Remember Gurley was kept.

Funchess obviously a horrific pick. Same with Russell Wilson. Some of these guys are obviously tards.

Vincent Jackson first pick in round 2 lol

Yeah when it went Jackson and Funchess I was like, holy shit Lamar Miller is going to fall to me. I didn't think dude in front of me would go RB/RB so I felt good about it. Would have had Robinson/Hopkins/Miller to start the draft. So when guy in front of me took Miller I guess I panicked in picking Ingram, cause I had already kinda mapped out a WR/RB/WR/RB strategy.

I would pull the trigger for Hopkins for sure.

I ended up dealing Robinson and a semi-high pick for Cooper and a later pick. I'm content, in a keeper league I really think Cooper is going to be something special.

Thank you for any comments from all who responded.

I would really like to find a high dollar Keeper league where you can keep unlimited players.

I was in a baseball keeper league years ago where the rule was you can keep a player as long as you give up a draft pick 1 round higher then you drafted said player the year before.

Well in that first season I drafted Arod in the 22nd round and Nomar Garcia Parra in the 23rd round .

I kept both of those studs for 10 years only having to give up no higher then a 13th round draft pick the whole time .

Yea I dominated the league to the point of everyone leaving the league eventually

And that's the problem with a real keeper league.
Too much turnover .

If you don't know what you doing you can really Fuxk up your team for 4 years or more and a lot of times when a player fucks up a team to the point of not being able to repair it they quit . Then you can't find someone to take over the fucked up team and before you know it the league is over .

What were the picks that were swapped if you don't mind me asking?

In our league you have to keep two (1st & 2nd) and can keep a maximum of four, thus forgoing your third and fourth pick. The deal was Robinson and the last pick of the 5th for Cooper and the first pick of the 8th. I will caveat, I have an extra 5th from a wildly successful Chris Ivory trade earlier in the year last season.

For this year I like Robinson over Cooper, so I don't like the deal from that perspective. However, in a keeper league, I do expect Cooper to have the better career, so maybe it makes sense from that angle.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cooper outscores Robinson this year. All the Jaguars beat writers are talking about a major regression

Worst thing about cooper this year is that people are catching on. His ADP is skyrocketing

Once I said Cooper was the value and then Cruise came to the same conclusion, you knew the hype train was going full steam ahead.

Wisdom of crowds.
