Would agree from what I saw in all the first halves of their games, but they seemed to get it together in the 2nd half of all games. And it almost seemed as if they were getting more chances in the first halves, just capitalizing more in the 2nd halves.

Still, don't really get everyone talking about how strong they've been looking. We'll find out soon, I guess. Go USA.

I edited my above post, but of all the teams we could have faced, they are the best option minus CR, which is unlikely due to both of us in the same conference. Gotta think about crowd advantage too....it will be a strong pro-american crowd. Belgium is a tiny country to begin with, let alone travel around the world. This isn't like us playing Mexico City or vs a South American opponent close by their nation.

Algeria, Argentina, Dutch, Brazil, France, Colombia, Germany all would scare the hell out of me for our USA squad.

Different tournament now and I expect to see a different Brazil. They haven't shown it yet, but this side has the best back line in tournament and are quite familiar with the Chileans. Things usually tighten up in the knockout stages and I expect no different in this one.

Thinking big picture, I wouldn't mind seeing Brazil go out because I have several futures tied into Colombia, semi-finalist, finalist and champion, so their path becomes a bit more favorable with Brazil out.

Sometimes things are what they seem and I feel that is the case with this match. Colombia is a legit threat to win this whole tournament and Uruguay is vastly overrated. I look for the Colombians to punish Uruguay this afternoon and win in a rout. I have some concern, but not much, that Uruguay rally around the Suarez situation. I feel they are more likely to use it as a built in excuse and distraction.

Colombia's first real test in my opinion playing a continental rivalry game..........James Rodriguez has filled the shoes of Falcao nicely, but Cuadrado has been a key player in their early matches and has impressed me..............Best of luck on your action
