In typical England fashion they will play their best with nothing on the line. I actually like the majority of the line up changes, especially Barkley, Lallana and Jones who should have been starting all along IMO. I'm not a fan of Hart, so Foster playing doesn't concern me. Costa Rica hasn't really faced a striker with pace in this tournament and tends to struggle with those types of talent. I expect Sturridge to give the sticks fits all match. I just can't see England losing all three and the best this side is taking back home in the media is intense, not that win here will ease that, but a loss would fuel the fire even more.

Call me crazy, but I think Uruguay may not only win, but win big. If they can get the first goal Italy will have to push forward and Suarez/Cavani are one of the best combos on the counter attack. Uruguay is suspect on the back line, which is always a concern, but Italy's attack hasn't impressed me much. Immobile was great this season, but seemed a bit off to me when he has gotten on the pitch this WC.
Conditions and and crowd should favor the South Americans, but it does feel almost sacrilegious to go against the Italians who only need a point facing a side they should be able to tactically breakdown. Maybe I'm making too much of the Costa Rica match, but Italy was completely disinterested, lacked effort, discipline and pace. We are all paid or pay for our decision making, so we will see how this plays out.

I wasn't, in fact, Uruguay was on my fade list along with Croatia, Belgium and Bosnia. Yet, I still backed Bosnia versus Nigeria. Huge oversight on my part and should have stuck to my guns and was sucked into Bosnia's strong play versus Argentina and Nigeria's complete lack of effort and discipline against Iran.
As for Uruguay, I figured they lose or draw v Costa Rica, but wasn't expecting the world to dismiss them following that match. I believe they went from +120 pre-tournament to +280 against England, total over reaction. I figured Italy would be through at this point and Uruguay would need something from this match setting up a possible nice play on Italy. In this scenario, which was unexpected, I'm going to take a shot on the South Americans.
They need to score first and possibly early, if not you can likely burn these tickets. An early Italy goal, which is more than possible against the porous Uruguay defense, and this is over. Even a 0-0 match that ticks into the second half is likely a killer for Uruguay as Italy will begin to just shut it down and sap the time away.
I also expected Ronaldo to play the injured star role leading Portugal past the US and Ghana nearly single handedly, but Suarez appears to possibly be that guy.

Greece has look morbid, as usual, but I keep getting reminder of Greece-Russia from Euro 2012. Likely foolish, but I'll indulge myself here.
