I don't live in a swing state so my Gary Johnson vote won't really matter. And besides, nobody cares what I think anyway, if they did then Marco Rubio would be President. Sorry for testing your gag reflex with that last comment.
Here is how Trump is going to get those on the fence for endorsements like Paul Ryan which is essential.
Marco Rubio is a favorite of those in the Washington inner circles, Trump is not going to bend on the issues
that he championed on his way to victory but IMO he'll consent to Ryan that he intends to pick Rubio as his
VP & that he plans to go back to his civilain life after one term. That should be enough to satisfy those
like Ryan & those Ryan influences to embrace him as nominee & set the atmosphere for a more united
convention.
Those like Bill Crystal, Mitt Romney, the National Review & the Red Stae Crowd will never come around
but the accumulative influence they have they'll soon realize is fading daily.

If Nehlens really did take Ryan's seat then that would be a pretty forceful show of strength by Trump supporters. Talk about a freefall, people were talking about Ryan stepping in at the convention just 2 months ago.
"I think Paul Ryan is soon to be 'Cantored,' as in Eric Cantor," Palin said, referring to the former Republican House majority leader who was ousted in a shocking upset in 2014 when challenger Dave Brat ran to his right in a Virginia primary.
"His political career is over but for a miracle because he has so disrespected the will of the people, and as the leader of the GOP, the convention, certainly he is to remain neutral, and for him to already come out and say who he will not support is not a wise decision of his," Palin continued.
