Asked how he plans to win the general election without a unified GOP behind him, Trump responded: "I think I'm gonna go out and I'm gonna get millions of people from the Democrats. I'm gonna get Bernie people to vote, because they like me on trade."
Of Sanders, Trump commended the Vermont senator as a man who "knows trade."
"The outside trade has been horrible for this country, and he understands that," Trump said. "But he can't do anything about it. I can."

I don't live in a swing state so my Gary Johnson vote won't really matter. And besides, nobody cares what I think anyway, if they did then Marco Rubio would be President. Sorry for testing your gag reflex with that last comment.

Here is how Trump is going to get those on the fence for endorsements like Paul Ryan which is essential.
Marco Rubio is a favorite of those in the Washington inner circles, Trump is not going to bend on the issues
that he championed on his way to victory but IMO he'll consent to Ryan that he intends to pick Rubio as his
VP & that he plans to go back to his civilain life after one term. That should be enough to satisfy those
like Ryan & those Ryan influences to embrace him as nominee & set the atmosphere for a more united
convention.

Those like Bill Crystal, Mitt Romney, the National Review & the Red Stae Crowd will never come around
but the accumulative influence they have they'll soon realize is fading daily.

this almost seems like some sort of hoax, too good to be true

she's a liar, a political hack, a career politician and she peddles the same ole bullshit that's been peddled for nearly 60 years now

but if true, this would be the icing on the cake

looked it up, while the chief counsel actually said she was unethical and dishonest, he did not have the authority to fire her

what's funny, and what proves one again how left leaning fact checking organizations are, they spin the story for Hillary just as she would want them to and you know libtard nation swallows such spin whole without reflex

1) first they emphasize the story is false because he could not fire her, essentially ignoring the fact that he actually described her as unethical and dishonest during those hearings

2) then they say his opinion of her is subjective, minimizing the fact that he was Chief Council during the hearings and he was involved in every minutia of detail

priceless

now how would lying media members spin this the other way if Hillary were a Republican?

1) they would label the story partially or mostly true since the Chief Counsel actually spoke those words

2) they would point out that she actually has character flaws when a person holding such an esteemed and trusted position says that about her

this story has been out there for decades, long before HC became a serious candidate for POTUS

Waiting on a wrong way prediction of a "tidal wave" for Trump. That should cinch in for Hillary.

I dunno why he did the whole "I'm not ready" thing when he knows he is going to atleast pretend to support him eventually anyway just to keep up appearances. If he were serious about it that is 1 thing but he probably isn't.

Now people are rallying behind his opponent in his own race, Palin said he is all done, etc.

Doubt Rubio is VP, he repeatedly called Trump a con artist. That's a tough statement to walk back and Rubio probably figures if this Trump thing tanks then he can comeback in 2020 and beat an extremely ripe for the picking HRC.

I kinda wanna see Trump just take Christie. Not because it is a good idea but it would be a universal triumph for loud mouth Northeasterners everywhere.

Trump has suggested the U.S. should default on our debt, and has offered a tax plan that would increase debt by $10 trillion, not counting extra interest payment on the debt. The guy is a nightmare fiscally. And somehow he says he'll balanced thr national budget, which is essentially not feasible with the little he's said about his budgetary plans. It's not possible to be a Trump supporter and claim to be a fiscal conservative.

If Nehlens really did take Ryan's seat then that would be a pretty forceful show of strength by Trump supporters. Talk about a freefall, people were talking about Ryan stepping in at the convention just 2 months ago.

"I think Paul Ryan is soon to be 'Cantored,' as in Eric Cantor," Palin said, referring to the former Republican House majority leader who was ousted in a shocking upset in 2014 when challenger Dave Brat ran to his right in a Virginia primary.
"His political career is over but for a miracle because he has so disrespected the will of the people, and as the leader of the GOP, the convention, certainly he is to remain neutral, and for him to already come out and say who he will not support is not a wise decision of his," Palin continued.

Have you seen the guy running against Ryan? He's an idiot. He does have the nativist, protectionist rhetoric down. Also, isn't Palin a pariah even in the Republican Party? Last time I saw her net favorability among R's it was horrendous.
