There is nothing there. Trump only started whining about anti-trust and the post being a tax shelter a couple days after the Post's editorial board wrote a piece that Trump didn't like. Amazon is fine. Amazon paid 273 million in income tax last year.

I knew Trump would be making a big play for the Bernie supporters, it was only logical. Didn't think he would be going this hard though.

Can't have those pesky evil business people like Jeff Bezos buying influence now...I give him credit though, pulling anti-trust out was definitely creative.

My advice is if you think Trump is not the man for the job then don’t vote for him. I myself boarded the Trump train when he said temporarily stop Muslims from coming into the country.


And I don’t see an alternative like some here do.

Big anti-trust cases are usually reserved for monopolies and anti-competitive practices. Amazon isn't even close to the biggest retailer yet in sales volume. This is 1 of the 5-10 most covered, scrutinized and analyzed companies in the world. If large aspects of their business were deemed anti-competitive, it would be in the news, especially nowadays. There is a reason nobody is saying "Oh that Donald Trump, he has a point regarding Amazon." He also said they dodged taxes, which is completely baseless.

In modern times, anti-trust mostly a waste of time in US anyway. This isn't the age of the robber barons. And Bezos is a visionary and a genius to boot.
