i took girona at a pk line which means i would win only if Girona win but i would get my money back if a draw happens. The only way to lose the bet is if Gijon win. It would kinda be like taking 1/2 a bet on girona +330 and 1/2 on the draw.

red card in hungary might ruin the over chance but no goals in 30 mins so maybe it had no chance at the start....justice for the late post - hopefully no one saw the play....except me :(

gotta stop betting these types of games....L'Hospitalet was the dumbest bet of the year for me...sorry if anyone followed. Gijon line dropped from -163 to +110ish and this time it was a bad thing. League one tomorrow so probably more bets to come....2 goals for girona wouldn't shock me but definitely looking like an 0 for....

GL tonight with those other sports

August 46-36-2 +8.14 units

Friday September 14th
German Bundesliga II
Cottbus v Frankfurt
Cottbus -111 -1.11 to win 1 unit
I am a fan of frankfurt early in the year but more so at home than away. Both clubs are 3-0 with a draw to start the year; Cottbus with 2 impressive home wins against St Pauli and Aue, and are coming off the one week break after a win in Colonge. Frankfurt beat Ingolstadt and drew to Sandhausen on the road - most likely two teams that will end up at the bottom half of the table (and relegation for Ingolstadt). Last year the h2h match ended 1-1 with Frankfurt netting an 87th min equalizer, the year before Cottbus won 2-1. Last year Cottbus had a very poor season and seem to have turned it around - Frankfurt are always in the bottom half and never a good road side. I think Cottbus have a mini-shot at promotion esp the playoff spot and outside of last year's poor season always a decent home side. Maybe 2-1 but i think 1-0.

Ingolstadt vs. Union Berlin
over 2.5 goals -124 - 1.24 to win 1 unit
last season Union 13 overs in 17 road matches including a wild 3-3 match in Ingolstadt (4-1 Union in the reverse fixture). So far Union 50% road overs drawing Kaiserslautern 3-3 and losing 2-0 to Sandhausen. Ingolstadt drew Cottbus 2-2 at home and lost to Franfurt 2-0. Union Berlin are rather desperate for a win and should come out playing wide open because Ingolstadt defense is rather poor. Last season Ingol gave up just about the most goals and so far this season have conceeded in every match and at least 2 goals in each home game. Union have also not kept a clean sheet this year. Ingol is a much better home side than away and Union giving up 8 goals in 4 matches have defensive issues....for me Union win but do give up goal(s). I could see a 2-2 (even 1-1) type score but in the end i think 1-2 1-3 Union win.

as for the third match - i don't what to make of this Bochum team right now ... They beat a tough Dresden team at home but then lost to Aalen and got spanked by Paderborn on the road. Until more consistent results happen i'm avoiding them.

---most likely england championship or german I for a third but 2 plays for now.

GL this weekend.....

yeah RVP injury seemed like a small thing - i actually think the manager was considering a player for his club as well as country for once. Even though it was only 1-2 i think the Dutch had a feeling the game was won. I still think using Man Utd with a Man City and Man Utd with Chelsea could produce a profit...both pay well above even. QPR is a london derby and Stoke are tough to beat at home for clubs (and both sides failed to win last season). I don't know if i'll bet it in the end but i like it. But using Man Utd for a double is a good move ....

i certainly can see another 5-0 drubbing like last season though....although Berbatov scored 3 of them and you know how hard he is to replace..haha....

some interesting prop bets Man Utd to score before 31st min pays -120 and man utd over 4.5 goals pays +700...

damn...arsenal is well respected for their youth academy but when city starts signing 9 years olds we are in trouble...i think RVP's kid was highly rated but didn't click the story so it could be a girl but Man Utd might grab him....

1-1 in german two as plenty of late goal drama...i wanted to take the under in wolfsburg but didn't make it to a computer/phone in time....so i won't count it...hahaha....2 draws in mexico for tonight....hopefully i can hit one out of two for profit day. GL

Mexico Apertura
Jaguares v Toluca
draw +240 - 0.41 to win 1 unit

Pachuca v Monarcas Morelia
draw +225 - 0.44 to win 1 unit

despite the higher odd i do like the Jaguares draw better...

looks like the soccer section of this forum is getting busy...nice to see all the posts...hopefully a good day for the forum

Saturday September 15th
German Bundesliga II
Eintracht Braunschweig v Jahn Regensburg
Braunschweig -1 -123 - 1.23 to win 1 unit
this is one of those matches you wonder how it misses when it doesn't hit (kinda like Swindon last week) but i still think it is a worth a punt. And the -1 behind a decent odd is justified because it is hard to win by 2+ in german II. Great start fir Braun winning all 4 matches scoring 7 and giving up 1 goal - just 1 win by 2+ but it did come against Jahn's fellow promotion side Aalen 0-3 on the road. Jahn with just 1 win in 4 against Duisburg - Hertha, 1860 and Bochum all won vs Jahn but all by just 1 goal. Seems Jahn is happy enough to lose by 1 (much like the World Cup) so it might be tough to get a winner instead of the push. But Braun will know Jahn quite well playing them in the 3rd liga just 2-3 years ago winning 2-0 and 1-0 the last two h2h. Braun started last season very well and a string of draws./losses ruined (or maybe helped them) with any promotion...this year they appear to be the same side that started the year last year. Very impressive....they really should win but 2+ might the tough part.

braun and man utd might be a good double but i'm saving man u for tomorrow.....

Sandhausen v Dresden
over 2.5 goals -103 - 1.03 to win 1 unit
hard not to take dresden overs right now - matches all over scoring 3 times in 3 of their first matches. Back-to-back 3-1 scorelines --- Sandhausen have scored in each of their first 4 matches and have looked good at home. They beat Union 2-0 and drew to frankfurt 1-1. 2 unders in 2 home matches but 2 goals scored and dresden should provide the extra 3rd goal. Both sides are well known to each other playing in the 3rd liga - 2 overs in 3 matches in sandhausen and two overs in 3 matches in dresden. Promoted sides do well at home usually to start the year but Dresden might snatch this one...

---

i haven't talk myself out of
Man Utd/Chelsea
Man Utd/Man City...

maybe 1/2 on each for 1 full unit bet.....arsenal over 3 goals seems plausible and giroud if he starts should net one .... eventually right?

the dreaded play out a 1-1 match is happening in german ii...late goals yesterday but i'm done with this one...brutal after dresden scored....I woke this morning and remember my 'don't bet road sides on the weekend before the CL" so no longer touching the two teamers with united....

still taking united but along with league one side Sheffield Utd....so

2 teamer
Man Utd + Sheff United (league one) -114 - 1.14 to win 1 unit

i still think citeh win but not so high on chelski...and 4+ goals in Arsenal because another clean sheets seems impossible esp against a southampton side that has played two crazy teams against fellow top 3 clubs Man City and Man Utd. But that's it...unless i get a late goal to go my way in german II -

i was going to post my thoughts because i wasn't betting but both hertha and kaiser seemed a bit short - i thought both sides would win by 1 so best case scenerio. I think the under in aue was a strong enough play but maybe i'm saying that because it is 0-0 in the 35th.

no bets for me today....

terrible july and now terrible september ... was looking good after august but hard to find 20-25 units up by season's end this time around...

Overall Record:
67-65-8 -2.88 units
September: 16-22-5 -7.32 units
August 46-36-2 +8.14 units

Monday September 17th
German Bundesliga II
Koln v St Pauli
under 2.5 goals -107 - 1.07 to win 1 unit
Until Cologne start scoring I think there will be a lot of value in taking unders at near evens. So far in 4 league matches just 1 goals and only giving up 5. 4 matches for Koln and all unders....adjusting from Bundesliga I hasn't been easy for them and St Pauli need to win if they have any promotion hopes. St Pauli just 1 over (at home) in 4 matches. St Pauli's over came last round with a 2-1 win which was 0-0 after 71 mins so they really should have 4 unders as well. St Pauli was an overish team last year but just 7 overs in 17 road matches. Both teams are going to be a little nervous knowing the season is slipping away and defense hasn't been the major issue but lack of scoring is...I do think St Pauli win as Colonge have been dreadful...but more likely a 0-1 0-2 score then a big wide open match. Monday matches have been fairly high scoring and that is actually a concern but unders and Koln are doing well....

English Premier League
Everton v Newcastle
over 2.5 goals -129 - 2.58 to win 2 unit
the ultra rare 2 unit play for me....3-4 a year usually but with mixed results.
Newcastle will be without key defenders and choice keeper Tim Krul as well as Tiote. For me that gives Everton the green light to go at Newcastle hard and strong and should produce a wide open match with plenty of goals. Jelavic, Pienaar and Fellaini should be licking their chops today. Newcastle should really be going into this game knowing a clean sheet will be a tough task and will still have plenty of fire power up front...Demba Ba can get 1 on his own in any game. 4 of the last 5 matches have been overs in the better side of Liverpool, and 7 of the last 10 have also been overs. Newcastle might have problems setting up plays without Tiote but I really think Everton will run them over today. For me Everton -1 is a tremendous pick but I do think Newcastle will score. 2-1 seems about right with 3-1 on a good day.

Sweden Allsvenskan
Kalmar vs. Orebro
Kalmar -1 +104 -0.96 to win 1 unit
surprised odds again as Orebro are fairly poor and Kalmar in recent times have crushed them at home winning 4-1 in the last two h2h matches. This is a very good over pick too as i think Kalmar will get at least on their own and 4 straight overs h2h in Kalmar. Kalmar sit 10 points back of a European spot and can still qualify with a run in the last quarter of the season but against Orebro it seems like a must win and move within 7 points. I will say Europe might not be in their mins as they qualified through the cup and not the league. At home Kalmar just 4-3-3 but they have won 3 of their last 4 with a draw coming between two EUROPA matches. Kalmar's wins at home include 3-0 to IFK, 2-1 Elfsborg and 3-1 to Hacken. (top 3 in the league). Kalmar even managed a 1-0 home win vs Swiss Young Boys but wasn't able to qualify so no Thursday EUROPA match. Orebro just 11 points in 21 matches and 2 wins...1-3-6 on the road and have lost 6 of their last 7 matches. Orebro recently beat GAIS and drew Aatvidaberg but those teams are bottom half (GAIS might be the only team worst then them) and have lost to all the league favourites like Elfsborg, Hacken, and AIK. To me, Kalmar need the points (Orebro 11 points away from safety so not much hope left), playing better at home, and a good recent h2h history...all sings point to home win and let's hope by 2+ goals...4-1 pays +2200 but that might be a tough ask.
---
i think Giroud to score tomorrow is the bet of the decade.......you always score against your old club..he might wait til the Arsenal home match but he'll get one and hopefully not celebrate...love that. GL this week esp if you have a club in the CL (not named Barcelona, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Real, AC Milan, or Real Madrid)

Everton overpriced IMO. No doubt they're the better team right now but if this was week #1 the price would be Everton @ +100 not laying a full goal. Totally agree on total but wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle use this match to springboard their season and come out winners

great to see United ahead of City on the table...well, at least for one week

yeah - it would be tempting to back newcastle to win at such a high odd but i really don't know if Newcastle can win without their captain, key defenders and 1st goalkeeper.....side seems to be very tough....newcastle can win if they want just make sure 3 goals are scored...haha...as much as seeing Arsenal up front it is extra nice to see Liverpool battle for relegation...the Gunners were in that place last season and we managed top 3 but i highly doubt liverpool can do the same...terrible owners, poor manager choice and lousy strikers...surprise they can't win.

Did you catch Being Liverpool on Fox yesterday?? I can't wait for the episode where they sack their manager 10 matches into the year.
