Found this on BookMaker for the superfight coming up at Abu Dhabi 2009 in Barcelona.

Jacare over Robert Drysdale 1.5u to win 2.55u

Roger Gracie had to drop out due to injury and Jacare called Kid Peligro to be the replacement. Jacare has been focusing on his MMA career but a big part of it is his no gi bjj so it's not like he's completely been away from the sport. Drysdale will have thesize advantage but that's nothing new as Jacare has beaten bigger opponents to win the absolute division in bjj tourneys before. Jacare has a more aggressive style so even if this fight doesn't end in a submission I believe that Jacare has a better chance of winning on points. Getting Jacare as an underdog I think is a gift in this one.

More ADCC small bets that I like (all @bodog unless noted):

Womens Over 60kg Field vs Lana Stepanac 1.35u to win 1u
One of the favorites esp because of her size but less technical than some of the others in this class, expect Thomas or Stack to win.

Mens Under 66kg Field vs Leo Vieira .9u to win .75u
Scary considering Vieira was 1st in 03 & 05 & 2nd in 07 but he's getting up in age and hasn't competed since 07. So many good competitors in this class (Yahya, Yoshida, Hall, Glover) that it's unlikely Vieira wades through them all on the downside of his career...oh and now Cobrinha has decided he wants to be a dominate no-gi grappler so look out.

Mens Under 88kg Andre Galvao .5u to win .55u
Yep I have a man crush on Galvao & now he feels more comfortable at this weight not needing to cut like in 07.

Mens Under 99kg Xande Ribeiro .25u to win .65u
Mens Under 99kg Vinnie Magalhaes .1u to win .8u @BookMaker
The fave & a flier on Vinnie

Mens Over 99kg Saulo Ribeiro .25u to win .65u
Don't bet against the Ribeiros

Added my last 2 ADCC bets, missed them last night but caught them on Brainiac's page:

Field vs James Brasco .75u to win .35u
Works out w/Popovich but doesn't look like anything special, should get handled by better no gi grapplers. I already have Galvao at this weight but if he doesn't win, I would think Tarsis, Estima, Lovato Jr should take it. Too many good jits guys for a basic wrestler to handle.

Field vs Bianca Andrade 09u to win .75u
Andrade was just added last Sunday to the event & she's know for her gi work, not her no-gi skills. With this little notice & her specialty being with the gi I'll take my chances with the rest of the field. At -120 for her to win, it looks like they just took Kyra's name out & slid hers in without consideration for changing the line.

A couple of good events for me lately:

My three loses is ADCC weren't too bad as Galvao took silver, Vinnie took bronze & Saulo lost in the semis in 2 OT's by judges decision which is pretty rare.

ADCC 2009 6-3 +5.20u

Strikeforce Challengers 2-0 +2u

One play for this card:

Joe Warren over Fernandes 3.2u to win 2u @BookMaker
Warren arguably outstruck the best 145lb striker in Kid Yamamoto and he has excellent wrestling to avoid takedowns or initiate them if necessary. Fernandes is a great grappler but it really hasn't translated to MMA; he has 2 sub wins early in his career & now lives & dies by the decision. Warren has more ways to win this one

Very very suspect fight , this was the only fight with big line movement today , whole day money coming in on that guy . Hope we get to see this sub , hopefully Wagnney didn't place money against himself and jumped into the triangle :ohno:

I was about to throw my laptop out of the window when I've heard 30-27 for this guy . Soon it wont be possible to bet on MMA at all , if it wasn't enough with the varience already now judges step in and add another factor . I don't understand what this judge has been watching , Assuncao had cage control , better positioning and some slick submission attempts , stand up was even and even there I would give the edge to Assuncao cuz Jaboin with just doing flashy shit but not connecting a lot .
Wagnney is a big lol as well , was controlling this dude but forgot that he can get subbed .

Very embarrasing event for the WEC, even though it's not their fault. Slippery cage, poor judges, weak officiating, embarrasing performance by one of their top fighters

Just noticed guy that subbed Wagnney was grabing the case when Wagnney was about to get a good position on him , sigh . Looks like they are walking on the ice , cage unreal slippery .
