ThanksSomebody brought up Rory and the horrible putter. 100% spot on.
@Harry GL with Si Woo and Berger, I think these will score well today. Berger has played two solid -5 rounds and a nice -6 today would be well suited for a nice Sunday run. Si Woo Can always torch a course and go super low on a round. You have a nice group of golfers in the pack. English has been just so solid the past few tournaments.
DJ/Scottie will be hard pressed to follow up yesterday’s crazy low round. Maybe they grind out no better than -3 today and you get a packed leaderboard Sunday.
I took English in a head to head with DJ today. English was my long shot pick before the tournament. Should have played him to lead after the first round...hahaha
Harry...you have some guys in contention. GL with them. I agree about Webb having the ability to go low 2 days and win it all. He seems solid all round now that he is putting better. Nothing ruins a golfer more than losing their ability to putt. Missing 3 to 5 footers eventually gets into the rest of their game. Webb went from 15th in putting in 2014 to 174th in 2015 and 177th in 2016 when the rules changed on the belly putters. Now he is back with his putting and is 12th in strokes gained putting. He can thank Tim Clark for suggesting a grip change.
only two in the world that when they bring the 'A' game not only will they win the tournament but are capable of LAPPING the field. They have similar charcteristics - stupid long, can hit their mid iron a mile high to land softly and are streaky putters. Dusitn Johnson and Rory Mcilroy.
their dual at The WGC in Mexico in 2019 was pretty special- two man race
weather delay may help the field here?....fuckin DJ is dropping 330 yd drives AND ...hasnt missed a fariway yet, lol ...cmon......its wedge day for him .
