you skipping this ufc?

No way ! I am betting on every single fight in this event , do or die . I didn't check but it looks like I lose all money betting on other organisations , UFC I am doing pretty well , maybe because fighters take it more seriously losing their job in the UFC unlike Maximo Blanco who has cost me money with his DQ for kicking a knocked out opponent , Masvidal losing by a submission with around 1 minute to go that nobody will lose with in the next 50 years or so . Strikeforce event has topped it all tho with Evangelista getting DQ for kneeing his opponent under the shoulder and guy faked like he got a knee to the head .

^^^ He has made me $500 already in an easy win and I don't see a different outcome here either . Tim Hague is pretty much Dan Evensen ll from the footage I've seen of him . At this point Barry has to worry about facing a wrestler who can take him down and pound him out which is not the case here . Hague is a brawler with so-so power , no real wrestling abilities to put Barry on his back and limited submission skills , most likely on same level with Barry so this is good news .
What is going to happen ?
I see a T/KO win here for Pat Barry in under 90 seconds . Tim Hague will either be put to sleep with a first or second landed punch or fall on his back and quit after taking 2-3 leg kicks . Barry will be in big height disadvantage but I don't think it will really matter because he shouldnt have trouble finding a spot in Hague's poor stand up defense . To me Tim Hague is a very poor Tim Sylvia version , Dana White most likely got him for one fight to feed Barry another guy he has to beat up without being threatened .
Fair line should be at around - 400 or higher just like Wolff vs Yoshida fight . To be honest I see no way for Hague to win this after watching every single of his previous fights . Even if Barry is taken down and Hague lands on top I don't see him doing any damage . He might be lucky and lay and pray first round if he manages to get on top but at some point they will be in stand up again with Hague running low on gas and his hands low he will be an easy victim against Pat who the is best striker in UFC HW division .
Recommended to be used in a parlay .

Start watching at 2:30 mark ...

Frank Edgar vs Sean Sherk

My pick is Sean Sherk to win

Odds : - 210

Where : bodog

5.25 units to win 2.5 units

Every single site I've checked has same opinion like me about this fight : Sean Sherk x2 = Frank Edgar to describe this in words Edgar is a smaller version of Sean Sherk and a little less skilled in every department . Sherk has only lost to ELITE level fighters : Matt Hughes , BJ Penn and George St-Pierre and won 33 fights . Edgar is no joke but he doesn't have many outs here , Sherk has iron chin , relentless wrestling and solid boxing .
My guess is that Sherk will keep it standing hoping he has better boxing , if he does not he will switch to takedowns and score points this way .
Edgar has been controlled by another good wrestler Gray Maynard and I don't think we will see a different outcome today . In a fight where KO is very unlikely just like a submission take the stronger , bigger wrestler with one of the best cardios in the fight game .

Matt Serra vs Matt Hughes

My pick is Matt Hughes to win

Odds : - 240

Where : sportsbook

7.2 units to win 3 units

If this happened 3 years ago I would be all over this line but at this point of their careers it looks like a sucker bet . Still I don't write Hughes off , he has lost to two athletic guys who are on top of their game at the moment with one being TOP 3 p4p fighter where Serra has never really been good . Atleast Hughes lasted as much as he did against Alves , I believe Serra would get knocked out in under 2 minutes .
There is always a chance Hughes gets dropped with a solid punch but will Serra have enough time to do so before he gets taken down and worn out on the ground or TKOed ? This is a good question , in general there are some question marks here but if Hughes is still semi-close to what he has used to be with his takedowns and GNP I see him winning this fight against an overrated guy like Serra . Also in my mind reach disadvantage will play a big role in this fight , Hughes has been bossed in stand up by much bigger guys than Serra with GSP and Alves , he wont have this problem today . Serra will have to be in very close distance to deliver a punch and Hughes can just dive in for a takedown . Serra's BJJ is hyped up big time but I have yet to see any of it , cant see him subbing Hughes with Hughes being on top of him . I think if Hughes doesn't get knocked out early he will simply wear Serra out on the ground and then cruise in the remaining rounds or TKO Serra on the ground .
That being said this looks like a way closer fight than Sherk vs Edgar so if I had to choose I would rather put my money on Sherk than Hughes .

Those look good to win their fights but I don't feel like there is any value betting on them as single wagers .

What do you think about the Gusmao fight? I'm thinking about parlaying Nover/Krystof

What do you think about the Gusmao fight? I'm thinking about parlaying Nover/Krystof

I've rewatched several fights of both today and I think Gusman is too soft at the moment . He might be good at Capoeira but I don't think it will get him far against a wrestler who can put him on his back and pound his head . Gusmao moves light like it's capoeira competition , I don't think it's very good thing stepping on one feet and then moving another one capoeira style , looks easy for a guy to dive in for a single leg takedown on him . Against Jon Jones Gusmao didn't put a lot of offense together and seemed like Jones just tried to work on his stand up in this fight and didn't bother taking Gusmao down more often .
Soszynski isn't great but I think he is well rounded enough to win this one . He has to get a takedown early and wear Gusmao down with GNP or going for kimura on him .

Gusmao is pretty much an uknown , I sure wouldn't be confident betting on Gusmao as - 170 favorite which he is at the moment . I am picking Soszynski to win but this one I've placed as arbitrage getting my money back if Gusmao wins and + $103 in case Soszynski wins this fight . Not for the record but a freeroll wont hurt after my luck lately with 3 people losing by DQ winning their fights .

George Roop vs Dave Kaplan is a fight I am skipping for sure , Kaplan should try to get in touch with McDonalds to find a new job and Roop doesn't look all that much better either .

freakin Nover made me already lose my parlay! "Don't believe the hype!" He lost by TKO first round!

Other results:
Krzysztof Soszynski beat Andre Gusmao by first-round TKO (punches)
Yoshiyuki Yoshida beats Brandon Wolff by 1st-round submission (guillotine)
George Roop beat David Kaplan by split decision

And I was just telling my buddy yesterday how last time a guy had his sunglasses on he has got his ass kicked in around 1 minute ( Mike Thomas Brown vs Leonard Garcia ) ....
Atleast Soszynski has won to make around 1/3 back of that parlay loss , wish I just stuck to Soszynski pick without arbing .

I was planning on parlaying Krystof and Roop but was too late. I might parlay Hughes, Sherk, and Xavier. Or just throw money on Lyoto.

Drew no ground game probably going to knock out Xavier as well ... Not sure if I really want to bet on a guy like Drew Mcfedries tho , gut says he wins by early KO :think2:

Maybe I should parlay Lyoto, Sherk, and Hughes?

I was just saying ... this fight looks like anything could happen there just like Kaplan vs Roop earlier was a split decision here anybody can win by a KO . People are just fading Drew because he has no ground game but Xavier isn't D.Maia on the ground either and has 10 losses .
Hopefully no surprises in those 3 fights you named there as I am on all 3 .
