i like Germany over russia: this will be pretty open, but at 2.38 great value (maybe better line later)Sweden overall not good, but they might be up for surprise, as they go all or nothing today. it s their best chance to get any medal and they know ititaly over France @ 1.78 : i reall y like that: italy with Ponza and DI Lorenzo two solid starters, the other two are also OK. France has 3 mediocre starters and one complete unknown (Jay)Slovakia over Czech @ 1.65 risky, but czech is awful with all 4 runners, while the Slowakian girls can at least run and Soukup is actually a good man.

I had a look at the other nations too when I saw that bwin got some matchups out, but didn't see anything useful. And it's hard to say how serious some of the mediocre teams will approach this event. Especially the better runners of teams that have no chance at all could decide to go not with full speed. Russian lineup shows they do take this seriously - only fact that kept me from hitting it so far is Krouglov: he was so damn weak in the first two races! If Germany could keep it close till last runners, I'd favour Greis over Iarochenko (in the men relays, Krouglov is always the finisher and Iaro did show nerves in the past). Defending Champ Sweden will have a hard time getting on podium regarding what they've shown so far and Norway may put the B- or C-team on the track, but it's still Norway - they won't just lay down in the snow and die....Besides, pressure is rising more and more for the hometeam: no medal, weak performances and public will surely expect a top3 rank today - it doesn't get any easier (at least it seems so on paper ;) ). I'm a bit surprised, that Bergman is the last runner and not Ferry - that brings up the question if the lineups do definitely show the "legs" :D - I mean, is it sure that Bergman is 4th or could he be 3rd as well!??

Late, but fuckin bookie took off the event for some hours... (half an hour left now)
Germany ranked top3 after 1st leg(!) @2,10 (ub) for 2u; odds went up all morning - don't see any reason for that...I see a good chance that Buchholz can get a good result if she doesn't totally fall apart at the shooting range. Top fav is Sleptsova for Russia, so two "tickets" left. Threats are Jonsson, Ponza, Grudicek and Mäkäräinen - but Buchholz should be able to handle all of them and she got the advantage of being rested!

all kind of strange movements..italy over cz went down from 1.78 to 1.54, now back to 1.75i ll take Germany at 2.42 over Russia, but leave them alone vs. Sweden... i think if they are on they will win the race otherwise they can also finish behind sweden

Congrats to you guys! I got the feeling I made things too complicated today.
