About the track: seems to favour the good runners more than I thought - Ricco Gross just pointed out that even going downhill is not easy because it's full of bends with icy plates and if you don't pay attention + don't have good skiing technique, you lose a lot of time.

i agree, if you loo what Neuner and Wilhelm did with awful shooting performances the good guys can make 1 or 2 errors good in the tracks...but from watching the conditions i expect very good shooting results from men.almost no wind

Men

Mesotitsch over Pinter @1.92

i like Mesotitsch in this matchup although not a strong play. he finishd 5th in last Sprint. Pinter only compete in one of last 3 sprints (dont know why) and finished 20th

Wolf over Andresen @1.71

really like this one. Wolf is in good form and 10th,3rd in last 3 sprints, while Andresen finished in both races 23 and 25. In Sprint Wolf should be the better men

Surman over Slesinger: @1.84

Surman ot great finishing 24 and 43 in last two sprints, but overall much better than Slesinger. He finished 30th,42,44 and is not producing anykind of results...a somehow decent run from the austrian should be enough

Birnbacher over DeFrasne @1.86

De Frasnejust not in good form and sprint results even got worse over last weeks (11,18.32). Birnbacher usually a solid guy around 10th

Hallenbarter over Burke @1.69 !! 2 units!!

Hallenbarter is solid finishing 16,6,24 in sprints, while the us guy is much worse overall and also in Sprint (26,36)

Not sure what to do with Tschudov and Tscheresov and Ferry (Ferry went from being fav to being dog in all his matchups over last 2 hours)

there seems to coming heavy money against ferry.
he went from 1.89 to 2.20 over Tschudov and from 1.82 to 2.14 over Iaroschenko at pinny.
these are open matchups especially with ferry being at home...any reason for the line move?
all other line moves seem to go in right direction as usual.

why are you on Kriglov, or is it more against Tscheresov?

Ivan Tcherezov vs Nikolay Kruglov

My pick is Nikolay Kruglov to finish ahead of Ivan Tcherezov

7.7 units to win 5 units at pinnaclesports + 10 units to win 5.5 units at gamebookers

Kruglov one of the best in the last races before the championship and Tcherezov was only good at the begin of the season . Very strong play .

Wolf over Andresen: well, you never know which face Andresen will show - this may be his only chance to get a medal! Four shootings in mass start and individual too much for him and probably he won't start in the relay! I've read that he focussed completely on this event this year which would explain his weak performance so far this season....
Wolf finally brought his shooting to a more solid level this season and the current track conditions should suit him, but as I said before, I still don't trust him too much....

Sumann over Schlesinger: sounds good, Schlesinger a disappointment in the last two years; I remember when he made his first successful appearances, everybody was talking about him as if he will be the next Bjoerndalen (like Krouglov as well);

Birnbacher over Defrasne: Don't know about this - Defrasne could be one of those who tried to meet their peak right now (similar to Andresen, probably); Birnbacher w a strong season despite his early injury....hmmm, hard to say....

Hallenbarter over Burke: agree, this seems very good and should really be worth 2u.

I'm going with Svendsen over Ferry @2,00 - should be more or less on the same level, perhaps a small edge in running for the Norwegian and I hope that Ferry shoots errors cuz of pressure, so 2,0 is ok for me. Besides, the swedish women looked weak on the last leg...

Same with Sikora over Bergman: Sikora and Magdalena Gwizdon from Poland always capable of performing well at the top events (Gwizdon 7th this morning). 2,03 here;

...hope I don't run against a wall with hometeam-fading here ;)

so what do you think then of Hanevold over tcherezov @ 2.22

i am also looking now at Tschudov over Bjornd @ 2.44 (probably it comes down to a duell between them and 2.44 is too big, considering that one shooting error might make the difference)
and
Ferry over Iaroschenko now at 2.14 (i see this as a open m atchup with slight advantage to Ferry)

Value on all underdogs , every match up will be decided in shooting because nobody here has so much advantage in running

actually like your reasoning on the sikorabergman matchup. Bergman has nothing special in sprint anyway being 15,21,19 in last 3 while sikora at least won one, and was terrible in the other. he skipped the last sprint though and being a veteran it would not surprise me, if he is also be able to step up for the big event.
you are right about the weak performance of the swedish...funny enough Olofson was still the strongest of them in the track.

Friedrich Pinter vs Alexander Wolf

My pick is Alexander Wolf to finish ahead of Friedrich Pinter

10 units to win 6.5 units at gamebookers

Wolf said in every interview that his dream is to win a medal in Ostersund , I am not sure if he will be able to win a medal but he sure will give his best here .
Wolf better shooting this season than Pinter and has better running times too . If we look at their stats in the last races it is clear that Wolf can make up 1 penalty loop with better running . My guess would be tho that Pinter will be the one today between the two to make more errors .
