Hey man just a question regarding lines...

If you bet a line and the line increases later on +4 to +6 or something do you buy the line again or is it worth buying an ML of it or what.

Or should u just let it ride and if it wins forgoe the extra profit you could have made on the ML

Sorry for the delayed response as I have been off the last two days dealing with personal matters.

Now, as to your questions. This my personal preference and have found it to be successful over the many years. If the strength of my play is just a regular play and I got a line at +4 and now it has increased to +6, I do not increase the amount wagered nor buy the ML. I just hold my position with the lower number. If the strength on my play is strong and I got the line at +4 and now it has increased to +6, I will increase my position an additional 20% (10% for every point) but once again will not buy the ML. While others may buy back the ML, for me personally, with my particular handicapping fundamental base, I have found that there is no need for me to buy the ML. Hope this helps you and best of luck.

I have accounts at over 30 books, not all currently funded, as I am currently wagering primarily on the NBA and limited MLB (recreational) as well as some Horse Racing. My suggestions for most players would be to have at least 2 to 3 books available that tend to have different lines and juice like a 5Dimes, Betjamaica and Betphoenix. For most players, depending of their level, this would be a good start. With success, you could expand to Sportsbook.com, Jazz, and so on. Hope that helps you and best of luck.

Yes the new VBulletin upgrade is permanent but far from being completed. You are only seeing the early stages of the upgrade as we continue to work with our tech support to make corrections and improvements. All or most of us are having to adapt to the newer version and it takes time, but once completed, I think you will be satisfied. Please be patient as work continues on the software. It will take a little time to get it completely the way we want it. Thank you in advance..............Ted

i read a lot about service plays. I would like to know if there is any database out there that has a running % on these.

First of all, welcome to the RX. Towards answering your question, we have our own RX Service Plays Forum that provides daily plays of many of the well known services but doesn't keep an actual percentage of their results. There are two sites that I know of but it is questionable how accurate the information truly is, so take it with a grain of salt. Below are the links:

How do I get access to send private messages?

Hi Vsign, right now you do not have access to the PM System because It's standard for the majority of new posters to be under Post review.
I'm sure it will come off soon, as you already have 6 Posts.

Might have something to do with that you had a User ID here before back in 2008.

So just hang in there, and you should have access soon. (<)<
