I would set a guide line just like a contest. e-mail me your picks by such and such a time or you miss the boat. Plain and simple.

Most proxies do that. If I sleep in (which I have) and they didn't submit my picks then I have no reason to be mad at them.

When I put up 1500.00 plus fees and the amount I have a chance to when and a week to turn my picks in I have no problem being on time. That's just me though.

most people are like you....especially if you know your picks early.

but if you are in a group of 5, and you have to wait every week for all 5 guys to make picks....you usually set up a deadline for them half a day before proxy deadline....then when they dont give you picks you remind them and wait a little while....add to that everyone wants to wait until the last minute to see line movements....

17 weeks is a lot of weeks. and the farther away from cashing you get, the less important these picks become....to everyone

Well I heard that Sharky is only charging 5% of winnings.

and I know there are plenty of guys out there that can be Trusted. But I know for a Fact I can Trust Sharky.
I don't mind giving him a % of my winnings, which I did 2 years ago

Sharky has a good friend working with him doing proxy. He lives very close to LVH which makes it a lot more convenient. I heard their rate is 5% this year as well.

Stiffed a guy @ EOG for 17k. Guy sent him 1k to bet on Bosox to win the World Series. 17 to 1 at the time. Booked it. Never even had the 1k to send back to the guy.

Personally I would pretty hesitant to be a proxy even for $250 and 10% of the so called "winnings". It is a real pain in the ass and the chances of any single player winning anything is small...... so likely you are working for the $250. 10% is only ridiculous if you make the rather silly assumption that any particular player is going to win something.

Anyone who has ever spent time trying to find a parking spot at the LVH sportsbook and then stood in line for 40 minutes to get to the counter knows what I am talking about....... maybe at Cantor I would do it..... but the LVH has the worst customer service in Vegas.

Fucking awful customer service. Jay is more interested in doing radio and TV. Ed doesn't give a shit, that degenerate gambler. Westgate is taking over, should be interesting to see what they do with the place.
