How about they lower their fares? In Indy, a $100 round trip. It was a 15 minute ride each way. I still tip except once.


By the way, if they want to REALLY lower drunk driving which they don't because it funds the public officials inflated salries along with the corrupt attorneys and judges, they would lower these outragous fares.

they make like $7.50 / 8.00 an hour, its a full wage but aint really shit. i've been in there shoes before, thats why i choose to tip them. i always goto the same car wash/gas station/oil change place i use to work at right out of high school & leave em a $1/2 tip Most people dont, its just personal preference. the end of the week they all divy it up & it helps out. this old man i worked with 13 years ago still pumps gas there, every xmas eve i give em a 20 spot & a gram of weed... makes me feel good to help a mother fucker out ! Wit that bein said, i wouldnt tip some random habeeb for pumpin my gas... guess im shallow like that

I never even thought of tipping the oil exchange guy. I tip the guys touching my food since they could poison me. I hate tipping the Outback curb side pick up. I mean 15% for some skank to take food to the car.

I dunno I think a gram is an appropriate thank you, for a guy you that general societal rules don't even dictate you are obligated to tip. Especially with $20 included too. What guy pumping gas doesn't want a 20 spot and enough for a few hitters? I'm sure it makes his day.

went out to dinner with my wife and daughter tonight, local reputable steak / seafood place, service was slow, food was "decent" and the couple gin and tonics I had were pretty weak. Our waitress was a young black girl. I actually thought of this thread. Long story short, still left her a $15 tip ( bill was $110 ) waitress was very grateful.

just funny as a white Italian family we can be decent and help a young girl out , but you flip the coin, 90% of blacks don't tip because white people are the devil and we all come from slave owners
