Lets not get too overconfident & lets keep our Guard up!

Grassfire Nation Update

Jim,

By a margin of 55-41, the DREAM Act -- a measure that
would have granted amnesty to millions of illegals who
have either graduated from high school, earned their
GED, or served in the military was defeated this past
Saturday.

Congratulations to Grassfire Nation team members who sent
tens of thousands of faxes and made untold thousands of
phone calls communicating widespread opposition to those
fence-sitting lawmakers who were undecided or undeclared
about their support of the DREAM Act.

Frankly speaking, had it not been for such an
overwhelming grassroots response, Harry Reid
may have succeeded at scheming this nightmare
through the Senate and into law!

Not surprisingly, following the defeat, the president
re-emphasized his commitment to promoting and advancing
his amnesty agenda. "My administration will not give up
on the Dream Act or on the important business of fixing
our broken immigration system."

We all know the kind of "fixing" he has planned which is
precisely why we need to remain vigilant and ready to respond!

Jim, over the years Grassfire Nation has built a
formidable coalition of grassroots Americans who quickly
respond to threats against our security and sovereignty.

We are both grateful and humbled to have the honor to serve
with you in defending our liberty and freedom.

Thank you for taking action with Grassfire Nation!

Alert! Tell your Senators that you are glad the DREAM Amnesty failed. As you know, the DREAM Act amnesty went down to defeat in the lame-duck Congressional session. Amnesty supporters failed to produce the 60 votes needed to invoke cloture. The final vote was 55-41 in favor of the measure.

Let your Senators know how pleased you are that this amnesty lost. Scold those who supported it and commend those who opposed it. Tell them that voters want Congress to secure our borders, reduce immigration, and provide jobs for American workers.

Victory!! We defeat DREAM Act: The amnesty movement is shattered; NumbersUSA members hold the line for 10 straight years!
Now is the time to send year-end gift
Dear Jim,
We did it! On Saturday, we defeated the DREAM Amnesty in the Senate. With that defeat, the last hope of the Open Borders coalition to snag an amnesty has disappeared.
For the past 10 years, the other side has introduced amnesty after amnesty in Congress. And each time, you and your fellow NumbersUSA members deluged Congress with millions of faxes, and untold phone calls and personal visits.
In the end, all the power and money marshaled by the Chamber of Commerce, the ethnic lobbies, the unions, big religion, the mainstream media, and even the White House--all that wasn't enough. It couldn't overcome public opinion.
Listen to what Joann of Houston posted onto our website this weekend:
"I think WE want to thank ALL OF YOU at NumbersUSA for encouraging the rest of us and for LEADING 'The Fight of Our Country's Lifetime.' Yes, I spent more time and money than I ever have on a 'cause' or political effort but that is because YOU gave me reason to believe that SUCCESS WAS POSSIBLE. Thank you from my generation and those generations who don't yet realize how critical this result is to their future and that of their children. I am more comfortable now but we must know that the 'other side' will never stop pushing and we can never stop standing."
Joann H. of Houston, TX

Thank you Joann! Truthfully, without the regular and generous financial help of our members, we could not pay for the one million faxes we sent to Congress about the DREAM Act in just the past five weeks.
We also could not pay for the elaborate and extremely expensive hardware and software to maintain our unique website. In fact, we need a good deal more funding to keep up with this load. You may have noticed that NumbersUSA.com was extremely slow in the past few days. Hundreds of thousands of unique users were jamming the lines, so to speak, crowding to use our free political tools.
Thanks for all your support last year and before. Several thousand previous donors have not given a gift this year. If you haven't yet given, please make a generous donation this month so we can shore up our computer system and online tools, and prepare for new offensive victories next year.
An Extraordinary Victory
As this Congress ends, let's remember where it all began. In January 2008, we faced a president and Congress determined to force through a mass amnesty--much, much bigger than the DREAM amnesty. They had everything on their side. Huge majorities in Congress, millions of dollars in funding, and practically every elite organization in America backing them.
But we had one, gigantic advantageYOU! NumbersUSA members, more than 1 million strong, trained by hard years of political struggle, kept on faxing, calling, believing. You never gave up.
In the end, a "comprehensive" amnesty never passed. Members of Congress were too frightened of the voters to even bring it to a vote.
Their last hope for ANY kind of amnesty this decade was this DREAM Act for illegal aliens under the age of 30. Well, you know what happened to that last Saturday.
We've won it all. But will we be ready to go on the offense in the new, much more friendly, Congress which convenes January 4? Can we push mandatory E-Verify though? Can we boost border security? Can we get immigration levels down to sensible levels?
Can we keep our aging computer system up and running? Let's not waste this victory. Let's get ready to follow up with many more victories.
Please help us with a generous year-end gift. Have you heard about our unique 2-for-1 donation match program?
2-for-1 Matching Offer Helps Even the Odds
Very generous large donors have stepped in to help us combat the millions of dollars that the open borders coalition pours into their agenda. These contributors have promised to match any donation giving to us!
But because of various IRS and foundation rules, these particular wealthy donors cannot contribute any amount until we first raise money from you, our dedicated members!
What does this matching gift offer mean?
For every $10 you send us, we can raise another $20.
For every $20, we get another $40.
And for every $40 gift, the large donors are standing by to add an additional $80!
Let me put the match another way. For every $25 you give us, we will have a total of $75 to work for immigration reductions.

There are four ways to give:
1) On-line credit card (we take all major cards);
2) Give by PayPal;
3) Check -- see the instructions and a form to print out and send with your check. All checks written and mailed by December 31 will count on this year's taxes!
4) Call (877) 885-7733 to arrange a wire transfer, stock donation, or to make a credit card donation over the phone. If our office is closed, please leave the time and your phone number and we will call back.
Members, I asked you to "KEEP THE FAITH." You KEPT THE FAITH.
Now enjoy your Victory!

In Tues. Meet, Pres. Obama Promises To Veto Bills To Reduce Illegal Immigration?

By Roy Beck, Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 9:09 AM EST - posted on NumbersUSA
picture-21_1285342200.jpg
Good news and troubling news came out of Pres. Obama's meeting about immigration with Hispanic Congressmen on Tuesday.
All at the meeting seemed to agree with our NumbersUSA live webcast assessment after the Senate vote last Saturday that there won't be any amnesty threats in Congress over the next two years.
But news reports raise the troubling possibility that the President was promising to veto bills that Congress might pass to move illegal aliens out of their jobs so unemployed Americans can have them. I see wiggle room in the statements attributed to the President, but time will tell.
"The reality is, we're no longer on the House side in charge of the agenda,'' said Rep. Charlie Gonzalez (D- Texas), who attended the meeting. "We would never have had a vote on the Dream Act if the Republicans were in charge. So we need to understand that."
-- "Obama, Latino lawmakers take pragmatic view on immigration," by Peter Nicholas and Brian Bennett, Chicago Tribune

Oh, we'll still have to listen to appeals for amnesty. Mr. Obama promised to make a pitch for amnesty in his State of the Union address next month. But he admitted that would be just for show.
Instead, the president and members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus concurred that, until after the 2012 election, a more realistic goal would be to stave off legislation targeting illegal immigrants.
-- Chicago Tribune

If I were one of the 22 million Americans who want a full-time job but can't find one, that statement would really upset me. Millions of illegal aliens are filling jobs that unemployed Americans want, but the President of the United States pledges to "stave off" bills that might make it tough for illegal aliens to stay in the U.S.?
Just WHOM does our President represent?
The Chicago Tribune which has been a major cheerleader for amnesties for years painted this "fearful" scenario for the next two years:
Proponents of a new immigration system fear that once Republicans take control of the House next month, they will put together a package of laws that stress tough enforcement.
Oh, no, Congress may stress enforcing laws that forbid businesses from hiring illegal aliens instead of U.S. citizens!
Amid concern about such efforts, Obama told the five Latino lawmakers who met with him in the Oval Office that he would veto certain punitive legislation if need be.
Despite being irked at Mr. Obama's general attitude conveyed from the meeting, I hope that this report is accurate that he did not talk about vetoing all enforcement bills but only "certain punitive legislation."
I don't see the major immigration initiatives in 2011 being about "punitive" measures toward illegal aliens.
Rather, the most important legislation will be about simply requiring all businesses to use E-Verify to ensure that they hire only U.S. citizens and legal foreign workers. This legislation doesn't really DO anything to illegal aliens. It merely would ensure they can't get jobs. I cannot see any legitimate policy reason or practical political reason for the President to veto a mandatory E-Verify bill.
Nor can I see the "punitive against illegal aliens" label being attached to the favorite idea of Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) who would deny businesses the ability to deduct as a business expense all wages paid to illegal aliens.
Perhaps moving into the gray territory for what Mr. Obama would consider "punitive" would be any bills that would make sure that illegal aliens don't get taxpayer-provided government benefits.
A final quick thought today:
Wouldn't it be great if the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the President would meet to talk about the horrific unemployment rates for Hispanic Americans and about how reducing illegal immigration would allow many more Hispanic American families to have jobs and wages in the coming year?

The "Happiest" of Holiday Seasons
picture-202510_1283369949.jpg
You did it! Thanks to your tireless phoning and faxing, you defeated the DREAM Act during one of the most pro-Amnesty Congresses in recent memory.
In the 18 days leading to Saturday's big vote, you sent 658,963 faxes to Congress. You made hundreds of thousands of phone calls. And you made office visits, utilized social media, and sent emails and letters to let Congress know that passing the DREAM Act with 22 million Americans looking for full-time work was a bad idea.
And Congress listened!
We'd also like to thank the 3,000-plus viewers who tuned into our live webcast of Saturday's Senate vote. If you missed our webcast, or one of the other two webcasts covering the DREAM Act vote, don't worry. We plan on providing live coverage of future immigration votes in Congress!
We've received thousands of thank you emails and letters over the past week, but it was your activism that deserves all the thanks. For 10 years, NumbersUSA and you friends have helped prevent the passage of a mass amnesty bill, and now that the major threat is gone, we look forward to what we can accomplish with a pro-enforcement Congress in 2011.
Again, thank you for all your efforts over the past three months, and the entire NumbersUSA family wishes you and your family a happy and safe holiday season!
THANKS,
Chris Chmielenski

By Jeremy Beck, Tuesday, December 21, 2010Two years into the jobs recession, some reporters are still operating under the false assumption that immigration policy is determined by U.S. labor market conditions. According to The New York Times' coverage of a Brookings Institution report, “The flow of immigration has resumed, after….[having] stopped almost completely during the recession….The rise pointed to an increase in demand for immigrant labor in the economy, said Audrey Singer, a demographer and co-author of the report.”

By Roy Beck, Saturday, December 18, 2010Our victory was closer than it looked. I told our Web Editor Chris Chmielenski after the vote this morning that my body felt like it does when I just missed a terrible car accident in which nothing bad happened at all but I can clearly see how close I came to being killed. Yes, the PRO-amnesty folks were 5 votes short of the 60 needed. But I can pick several NO votes that could've gone the other way. And if any two had done so -- especially if they had done so a couple of weeks ago -- at least three other votes would have gone with them and we would have lost.

Friends of ALIPAC,

The Dream Act Amnesty is dead for 2010 and the Senate and House have adjourned leaving Obama crying at the podium about his "greatest disappointment"!

Now that the legislative coast is clear we can all go about spending time with our families who have shared in the sacrifices that those of us fighting to save America have made.

ALIPAC's strong role in the defeat of the Dream Act Amnesty has now been well documented in the desperate speech given by the bill's primary sponsor, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL)

We know, from Durbin's comments on the Senate floor, that ALIPAC's strategy in the final days before the vote struck a solid blow against Dream Act Amnesty. Our release and activist calls pointing out the sneaky mass amnesty waiver in the bill emboldened opponents of the legislation, while putting supporters on the run!

Those of you calling Senate offices like we asked you to with this information, could hear the panic in the voices of staffers in the offices supporting Dream Amnesty when you confronted them with the waiver!

So this Christmas, let's all raise a glass and make a hearty toast to our ALIPAC activists and supporters who just delivered Obama's "greatest disappointment".

Obama, we are disappointed with you as well and your efforts to destroy the borders of the United States via mass Amnesty passed under the guise of benefiting innocent children!

We are glad to see the National Council of La Raza, Media Matters, and a host of other pro-invasion groups crying and spitting political venom at their recent loss. Americans have cause to celebrate, while illegal alien supporters plan their retreat!

While Obama and Reid are trying to maintain morale amongst their illegal alien supporters, with strong talk of passing Dream Act Amnesty in 2011, ALIPAC intends to make 2011 a YEAR OF ENFORCEMENT.

We will release our plans for 2011 soon and you are really going to like this much more than playing desperate defense in reaction to the Globalists.

Be warned though, both Republican Senator Mitch McConnel who plans to lead the Republican majority in the Senate and Congressman John Boehner who plans to be speaker under the Republicans support the Globalist Amnesty plans.

That's right, McConnel and Boehner are both in the bag for the Globalists. McConnel recently stated he wants Republicans to try and pass the Dream Act Amnesty in 2011.

And Congressman John Boehner told me face to face, at an event in Raleigh two years ago, that he supported a Guest Worker Amnesty for illegal aliens. I told him, if they passed that there would be an "America riot' on their hands!

We have already started the 2012 election process at ALIPAC and we have a new agenda ready for 2011 that will be released soon.

Until then, our homepage updates at ALIPAC and other activism efforts are being briefly mothballed through New Year's Day, unless something major happens that we need to respond to and inform you about.

The exodus of illegal aliens out of America, already documented by Homeland Security, the US Census Department, Center for Immigration Studies, and the Pew Hispanic Center, is about to escalate in 2011 as we put the illegal aliens and their supporters on the run at both the state and federal level.

The Dream Act Amnesty supporters know what just happened was the tipping point and it did not go their way.

They put everything they had into winning Amnesty and they lost, and now it is time for the Americans to advance on the invaders!

We have been taking names and the political revolution continues full steam ahead into 2011!

Merry Christmas to all of our wonderful American supporters!

From: Roy Beck, President, NumbersUSA Date: Sunday 26DEC2010 5 p.m. EST SEND FAXES TO COUNTERACT NEWS MEDIA'S HYSTERICAL
SOBBING OVER THE DEFEAT OF DREAM ACT AMNESTY

The fact that 'everything else' passed in the Lame Duck session, means that your activism against the amnesty is seen as an even more amazing accomplishment of grassroots activism.

For the last week, newspapers throughout the country have been filled with editorials, opinion columns and even news stories about how "tragic" it was that the amnesty was the only item on the President's wish list that didn't pass just before Congress left town for Christmas.

All of us who worked to stop the amnesty have been described repeatedly the last week in the worst possible terms -- we're even accused of prompting suicides.

That is why I hope all of you will send free faxes to your three Members of Congress and let them know just how happy you are that the amnesty was defeated.

ACTION: Click here to choose a text and send to your 3 Members of Congress:

http://www.numbersusa.com/faxes?ID=12642

We want congressional offices this week after Christmas to be flooded with hundreds of thousands of faxes CELEBRATING the fact that the concerns of unemployed American workers were put ahead of the concerns of illegal aliens.

REMIND CONGRESS THAT PUTTING AMERICANS BACK TO WORK
HAS TO BE FIRST PRIORITY

We want your Members who voted FOR the amnesty to know how happy you are that they didn't succeed.

And we wnat your Members who voted AGAINST the amnesty to feel your support so that they can shrug off the nearly unanimous wailing from media voices for them to pass an amnesty in the new Congress.

Let all of them know that Congress AND the President should use actions to back up their many claims that JOBS are their top priority. There may indeed be some compelling cases of illegal aliens, but they have to wait for consideration until Congress does something to stop 7 million illegal aliens from holding construction, manufacturing, service and transportation jobs and keeping 7 million unemployed Americans from having them.

REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE GUILT TRIP PROMOTED BY MEDIA

Unfortunately, close to zero of the journalists writing about the amnesty defeat point out that we opponents are concerned about how illegal immigration leaves millions of Americans jobless. To most journalists, the only reason to stop the amnesty is cold-hearted distaste for anybody who is foreign.

But we know that an amnesty at this point would only encourage millions more foreign workers to come to the U.S. to illegally take jobs and often to risk the lives of their children to smuggle them in with hopes that they some day might be able to lobby for their own amnesty.

A typical overwrought news report was one in the Chicago area about some political theatre by the Immigrant Youth Justice League:

Standing in the shadow of the Federal Building, four undocumented immigrants risked arrest Tuesday to talk about on their attempted suicides, urging peers with similar depression to stay strong and seek help. In front of them, seven people lay lifeless on the pavement, dressed in graduation gowns. Behind them, photos of three peers who killed themselves hung from a chain-link fence.

In another, national columnist Connie Schultz accused all of us of mocking the meaning of Christmas by opposing amnesty.

Schultz wrote:

What footnote to Jesus did I miss? Heres what Jesus says in every copy of the Bible in our home: "Love one another, as I have loved you." Nowhere can I find this asterisk: But only if they are born in America.

In general, secularists and clergy alike who spoke publicly about our tremendous political success in stopping the amnesty became sentimentalist armchair theologians who equate "loving one another" with allowing anybody in the world who wants a job in the U.S. to come take one. Their theology and political ideology entails a rejection of the U.S. federal government putting the interests of American workers ahead of illegal aliens.

Notice the contempt that Schultz has for those of us who would say that in fact people who are "born in America" have a special priority for the national community that is the United States of America.

At risk of being an armchair theologian myself, I am going to state outright that neither Schultz nor any of her other compatriots in the media have the spirit of Christmas right. Their attempt to wrap their globalism in some religous meaning as a way to fight our emphasis on community is itself a form of sacrilege.

PRO-AMNESTY ENTHUSIASTS CANNOT BELIEVE THAT WE BEAT THEM

Most commentators have noted that it seemed to them that some of the things that the Lame Duck Congress passed should have been a lot more difficult than the DREAM Act to pass. They are astounded that it failed.

Folks, that is just how amazing your efforts were in December.

Pres. Obama listed what you did as his biggest disappointment. And cable TV has had one interview after another of people wondering how he can overcome that disappointment with an amnesty next year. But in the end, nobody has come up with a practical way to do it.

Please send these faxes now: http://www.numbersusa.com/faxes?ID=12642

Keep the returning Members of Congress focused on practical legislating to put unemployed Americans back in jobs rather than sentimentally attempting to encourage more illegal immigration.

THANKS, AND ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY,

Happy New Year

nusa_genheader.gif
From: Roy Beck, President, NumbersUSA Date: Friday 31DEC2010 8 p.m. EST 61 REASONS FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR

These Pro-Amnesty Members of Congress
Are NOT Coming Back in 2011!!!!

I can't think of a more joyous reason to ring IN the New Year than the fact that we will immediately be ringing OUT 61 Members of Congress who voted FOR amnesty just before Christmas.

You can look at the full list of these 61 on my new blog here:
http://www.numbersusa.com/content/nusablog/beckr/december-31-2010/happy-new-year-these-pro -amnesty-voters-congress-are-not-coming-back

When the clock strikes midnight, raise a toast of good riddance to these 61 politicians who thumbed their nose at their constituents (particularly their unemployed constituents) on their way out the Capitol door by nearly passing the DREAM Act amnesty.

If not for them, the amnesty would not have come close to passing in the U.S. House. Fortunately, the Senate easily blocked the amnesty.

These 61 are politicians who were defeated in the November elections or chose not to run. And yet they tried to use the Lame Duck session this month to show their preference for illegal foreign workers and the employers that hire them while showing callous indifference to the millions of Americans who don't have a job.

These 61 came from 34 states. Fortunately nearly all of them will be replaced next week by newly elected Members of Congress who ran as anti-amnesty and pro-enforcement.

What a difference that is going to make in 2011.

So take a look at the list of 61 Lame Ducks who almost succeeded in passing an amnesty and think how much safer American workers will be next year because these 61 aren't returning.

Yes, I know that most of these Members had a sincere concern about the compelling cases of young adults who were brought here illegally at a young age. But none of these Members had enough interest in the compelling cases of unemployed Americans to consider the fact that the DREAM Act amnesty would have done nothing to slow down future illegal-worker migration while creating more incentives and hopes for millions more illegal foreign workers to come to take U.S. jobs. These 61 allowed this amnesty to be brought up without any chance to amend it to make it more protective of unemployed Americans. They allowed it to come up without any opportunity to try to perfect it in committee.

Every one of the Lame Ducks on this list acted recklessly and callously toward the interests of the 22 million Americans who want a job but can't find one and toward the children who suffer in these unemployed homes.

In the last hours of this year, I want to raise a sincere toast to each of you for the tenacious civic efforts you made for your country in helping block all attempts at rewarding illegal immigration and in helping block all increases in the importation of immigrant workers.

I want to thank all of you for trying to stop the federal government's coercive efforts to use immigration to force massive population growth in this country against the will of the American people.

I look foward to 2011 when 61 politicians who were willing to pass an amnesty in 2010 no longer have any power.

HAPPY NEW YEAR,

The North Carolina Illegal Alien Crime Report has been posted for the month of December.

Recently, we have received some complaints that "NCFIRE is making the illegal alien problem in NC look worse than it actually is, by adding simple traffic offenses to the reports"(ie: individuals with repeated DWI, DWLR, driving w/o insurance, hit and run, reckless endangerment, etc...charges) so we did something a little different this month.

Just to prove a point, we left out numerous pages, upon pages, of court calendars for various counties in NC and we still wound up with 32 pages of the most hienous crimes imaginable: murder, child molestation, rape, drug trafficking, forgery, assault, terrorist activity, etc...

These reports can be accessed directly, either here as a Word doc or here as a pdf file. They can also be viewed, along with the previous 2 years of monthly crime report archives, on our website: www.NCFIRE.info

For those of you that have complained about our reports, NCFIRE has just one question: How much worse does it have to be?

The word police is coming for you.

In its organization's magazine, Quill, the diversity committee of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) lambasts the use of the phrase "illegal immigrant" or "illegal alien" and calls on journalists to use the more politically correct "undocumented immigrants" or "undocumented workers" when reporting on the issue.

http://www.onenewsnow.com/Culture/Default.aspx?id=1263624

Then what do they call the Criminals listed in post # 2036 "Victims"? & mind you this is only one State under unnesessary financial burden & other misery...So I'll ask the bleeding hearts out there myself again...How bad does it have to get?

One unnessary battle after another in my book...

nusa_genheader.gif
From: Roy Beck, President, NumbersUSA Date: Monday 3JAN2011 9 a.m. EST We're Fighting For State-Mandated E-Verify At Supreme Court

READ SUMMARY OF OUR AMICUS ARGUMENT

The most important court case involving Arizona's anti-illegal-immigration laws is this one.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce -- with assistance from the U.S. Justice Department and the ACLU -- won the right to argue before the U.S. Supreme Court that Arizona (and any other state) should NOT be allowed to require businesses to use E-Verify to keep illegal aliens out of jobs.

The Court will decide this case in the next few weeks.

NumbersUSA filed an official amicus brief underlining why mandatory E-Verify is important to law-abiding business owners and vulnerable workers.

Read the amicus' Summary of Argument on my new blog.

www.numbersusa.com/content/nusablog/beckr/january-2-2011/what-we-told-supreme-court-no-1-o ur-summary-argument-support-states-ma

Our amicus brief to the Court is in support of the state of Arizona's law requiring all employers to use E-Verify to keep illegal aliens from holding jobs sought by unemployed Americans.

Nothing is more central to the immigration debate in 2011 than mandatory E-Verify.

And the biggest part of the mandating effort probably will be in the states. Unfortunately, the Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Justice Department want to halt all state efforts to put unemployed Americans into jobs currently held by illegal aliens.

I want to thank all of you who responded to our appeal in the autumn for donations to hire an attorney and to pursue this case.

PRELIMINARY STATEMENT in AMICUS

Congress's intent was and is to create a fair immigration policy that includes, in salient part, deterring illegal aliens by ending the lure of employment. While Congress has clearly preempted some parts of the enforcement of this immigration policy, it expressly and by implication left some to the states and individuals.

To hog-tie the State of Arizona and its businesses and citizens and keep them from seeking relief from this unfair situation by prohibiting the State of Arizona from requiring compliance with Congress's own statutes would, in fact, go against the intent of Congress to protect these legal workers and these law-abiding businesses.

Read the rest of the Preliminary Statement to the Supreme Court here.

MANDATORY E-VERIFY IS PRO-BUSINESS

NumbersUSA's position has always been that mandating E-Verify is PRO-BUSINESS, at least PRO businesses that obey the law and that honor their communities. Allowing some businesses to BREAK the law is always a case of government discrimination against the majority of businesses that are OBEYING the law.

Arizona and several other states have decided to stop the discrimination against businesses that obey the law and that hire only Americans and legally-present immigrants.

If the Supreme Court rules in favor of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, our efforts to help states reduce their unemployment rates will be made very, very difficult.

A victory in this case over the Chamber and the U.S. Justice Department, however, will open the door for massive new efforts to open up the jobs now held by illegal aliens.

Click here to join the discussion about the Court case against Arizona's mandatory E-Verify law.</B>
