head says absolutely no prayer
heart says pitt plays everyone tough and if they can find a 3rd scorer today (zanna/patterson will get theirs) they can win this

personally i think this is the perfect storm for a blowout. pitt coming off their best performance of the year while florida looked terrible against albany. Pitt should be a really easy opponent for them...if you have a big guard or small forward that can blanket patterson then double up zanna down low Pitt need a miracle to score on every possession as their point guard is one of the poorest shooters I've ever seen. I could see Pitt struggling to hit 50 today and lose by 12-15...something like 68-54. be nice one day to see Pitt actually upset someone in the tourney though so I'll be rooting them hard but defensively I just think they are way too much for us. We played 5 games against top-20 defensive efficiency teams this year (2 uva, 2 cuse, 1 cincy) and scored 43-54-45-56-48 and lost them all...

One thing I notice about Pitt basketball is they never take a step back and will be just as physical as the Gators. It is tuff though when you can't score as I painfully saw with Ohio Statecthis year, no shooters on that team. How does that happen?? Posts defense could be their best offense? The gators have some shooters but if the refs let them play physical I think both teams could struggle from the floor. this won't exactly be enlightening but other than the clemson game, which was more of a clem choke job than anything, pitt can't come back from deficits. on a nice run lately because of great 1H's vs Wake, UNC, and Colorado ... if you like Pitt take the +3/3.5 out there for first half... I don't see then coming back from a deficit but could see them losing a lead. really not expecting anything but pain today but not betting the game. if i was it would be pitt TT u60 or gators 2H
