my take on this is that he is going to stiff you if you win the bet.
I think i understand where you're coming from by announcing the bet is on no matter what. you're eliminating any grey areas. makes sense.
My main concern was that you were on the hook for 1k regardless of what WVU does or does not do if he wins the bet. It's really none of my business aside from looking out for a fellow poster.

this may have already been done with no response to anyone here as well, i personally feel Wil is "old school" enough to have made an effort to at least contact wvu and express his desire for him to at minimum contact lapdance, if you look back over the years of Wil's post he is fully aware of how it is to be on our side of the counter.

why anyone would make this kind of wager with another poster is beyond me. i am surprised how trusting people can be. this is an internet message board, anything can happen. i would not make this wager on either end because i would be concerned about getting paid. I hope WVU does pay if he loses the wager but it would not shock me if he did not. He seemed like a stand up guy at the bash last year so I think he will do the right thing if he loses.
