WSEX has always been fair about the rare disputes that come up. I would be shocked if they did not compromise. I personally feel both sides are at fault here, but after sucking up their pride, I'm sure wsex will see that they made a mistake.

Your kidding Skybook looks pathetic. You have to dig deeper in Skybooks rules.
MAXIMUM PAYOFF ODDS:
  • Win 16/1
  • Place 8/1
  • Show 4/1
  • Exotics 100/1
If this is correct, they are a joke as a Horse out.

I had this happen to me like 15 years ago when I bet a derby horse through my local and didn;t get true odds

And I knew better and told my book damn had I known the horse was going to pay so much I would of had my friends dad bet it who lived in Reno.

He said same thing there and I said no they are tied in now in most sportsbooks in Nevada and he said oh yea.

Guy's this was 15 years ago and any savy and esp a service tout should be aware of this and know better that this shop was misleading on thier front page.

Another example of this industry preying on the next generation!

I don't see why a book would bother to say "payouts based on actual track odds" without including a disclaimer that exotics are capped at 300/1 unless they were trying to sucker people into betting there.

Beetman, you are dead on. WSEX buried the rule knowing that if it were on the front page, NO ONE would play exotics and probably nothing else either. WSEX took a shot at the players and the bullets boom a ranged on them. PAY THE MAN IN FULL! LT

If they payout 300-1, and the tri paid 602, isn't that about the same thing?

The TRI at the track paid 11,000.......602 was the WSEX payout.

I am glad to see someone sees it exactly as I do.

This man was ROBBED. I will say this again.

If this went to a court of law, due to the amiguity of the statement on WSEX's web page, the ruling would in favor of the player.

There's no way WSEX pays this off... they aren't in the wrong. Smokey keeps conviently leaving out the word 'based' in most of his posts and there's a difference between 'paying actual track odds' and 'the based on actual track odds'. And I'm sure WSEX is about to close their doors since Smokey's life mission is to shut them down. READ the Rules before you play is a simple way to avoid losing money on something like this.

Stayed away. I would have lost though. I liked the over. I didn't think and still do not think that DLH has 154 power.
