I see too many teams seemingly confident they can win their final game in their group to advance.
Why in the HELL would these teams/coaches play to actively set UP a Do or Die?

I don't likethese +1s because to me its just playing into the Draw. We take the +1.5 to win on a 1 goal deficit at finish where +1 just gives us a PUSH. Only scenarios we cash a +1 with are DRAW or SU WIN by the dog. +1 says we don't have the confidence to bet the Dog to win SU and therefore don't like the SU bet so, since DRAW is the only other outcome that sees us cashing the +1, we MUST like the DRAW or why would we have been willing to take the +1.
So why not just take the DRAW?

Spain won't get as many opportunities today as they did vs. The Tica Girls (19 shots 8 on Goal) but they will get some if what we saw from Brazil vs. So Korea can be relied upon as indication. South Korea got their chances, Spain is thought to be better than South Korea. Again...we'll have a better handle on South Korea later today....simple LAW OF PROBABILITY dictates that Spain should make shots today because these girls are good and they only converted ONE of those 8 shots on goal vs. the Ticas.
Any thoughts on MEXICO as our +1.5 today.
I think Costa Rica is too risky.
Another developing "system" here is FADE a team considered a poor squad off a surprising positive outcome (and especially a win)
Ticas off the shocking DRAW with Spain should, if the system holds true, lose handily.
Consensus sees South Korea by 2 so I think Mexico +1.5 might be our best shot. -151 last I saw it.

This makes the Mexico/England matchup HUGE and 'specially for MEX as they could tie for top of the Group with a win, ENG back in it totally with a win.
