nicely done again sir. I'd like for somebody to see somebody pick one player to have a better score than tiger over the course of 4 majors. If anybody picks somebody besides tiger, you are incredibly stupid

What is this some kind of consolation prize because Tiger is not winning !

BTW, its alot easier to hedge Rory at 32/1 then anything you can on Tiger because of all of the fools that bet him in the last year and a half. Those are other peoples problems that can't name more then 10 golfers, not mine. No doubt Tiger is a draw, i watch him too. Hate is pretty strong, pretty much dislike here. Yankees though are hate, give you that one. Fact is, you need to get over living in the past. Tiger will never dominate like he did before. He had his time. We can revisit this thread to the end of time and I will keep reminding you of this and you'll keep playing woulda, shoulda, coulda, wishing and praying.

This from a fan of Phil mickelson so take it for what its worth. If your into being soft and don't mind losing, I guess its ok to be a fan of Phil

No sir. It's saying tell me who in the world is better than tiger woods. Throw a name out there, you an idiot if you do

well for one he is #9 now right ! I would take those 8 over Tiger to win the US Open, plus afew others. BTW your an idiot if you bet him at 5/1 or whatever it is. How as that worked out the last few majors ?

So are you telling me you believe the world rankings show who the best golfer in the world is? Lol

I'll take that bet on those 8 golfers. How can we set this up to be legit?

Obviously its not a exact science, the rankings, especially how close they are, but I would make alot of bets on alot of Golfers over Tiger, especially with better odds. I don't make wagers offsite with anyone. Got screwed out of $200 on a USC-Penn St Rose Bowl 3 years ago. Why don't you just bet Tiger to win the Open at any sportsbook you have ?

Not enough value on betting tiger. I'd rather bet the Jason days of the world and hope I get lucky someday.

Hey, on a serious note. I use a local that has a website and everything. They had live betting on the masters, but said as far as he knew, they wouldn't have it for the players champ. You know any offshores that do live betting for the players champ? I've never used offshore so don't know if it would even be worth my time. Local is so much easier than depositing and waiting on a check, but I like the live betting

Jason day was a great bet man. Betonline had that Swartzel play at 10/1 after 2nd hole. I'm thinking BetPhoenix did too and 5Dimes. I can check it out, I had some hedge wagers that last day

Yea, my local had live for the masters, but I doubt he will for sawgrass. I also took Shwartzel after he chipped in at 10/1. You know any books that do live betting for the players champ at sawgrass. I figure that's a good course for live betting with #17 being the cheesy hole it is

I'll let you know what I find out. But Betonline could be one of the shops that do

I followed Mickelson around when he played at Southern Hills in Tulsa back in the 90's before Tiger had really hit the golf world. And out of all of the golfers that I've seen, Phil was by far the best ball striker, shaper of the ball than anybody I had seen to that point. Phil's problem isn't talent. It's been in his head. He's choked at some bad times, and taken too many chances at others. He is a golfer who if he was a little more disciplined, probably would have had close to 10 majors titles by now.

This is a very very good statement and it can be said the same for Tiger. The game of golf at any competitive level is 15% physical and 85% mental. The difference in talent at the professional level is very very small. Everyone of these guys on tour have the talent to shoot great scores and win tournaments. But how many have the mental game to withstand the pressure week in and week out to win at this level? I have seen and played with guys who have similar talents as the guys on tour, but they don't have the mental game to even compete let alone win at this level. Tiger's problems right now have nothing to do with talent or ability. Talent wise he is still as good as he has ever been. His troubles are totally in his head and that is something he will eventually work out. When he does, he will start winning again.

i agree tiger has some mental issues right now....he's ashamed, emberrassed in front of the whole world etc...i dont think tiger is a bad guy. i think he just got caught up living in fantasy world and it came crashing down. he is going through a swing change, so its not just mental stuff.

as far as the golfers being equal. i agree they are close, but the best players are a step above the field with their wedges and on and around the greens. there is no doubt there is a diff in the short games of the top golfers. also the best players can scramble like no other. look up all the stats you want, but nobody scrambles as good as tiger.

He will be the odds on fav to win every major he plays in NOW and for the next few years. Few being 3 - I'd say 10 years personally next 40 majors he plays in.

Sure looks like a great oppurtunity to make some $$ betting against him ! It's been 3 years and 0 majors and counting !:dancefool

Taylor, Tiger has gone thru many swing changes throughout his career and still was winning tournaments. His slump right now is not about his swing change, it is 100% about his mental game. Once he gets his head together, he will start winning again, but it will take some time.

"many swing changes"?? this is his 3rd one. trust me, i'm as big of a tiger fan as there is, i'm not bashing him. he has gone through droughts where he didnt win tournys when he changed his swing the other two times, not as big of a drought as this one though. which is why i agree he has some head probs right now, wouldnt you have some head problems if you were one of the 5 most influential individuals in the world and out of nowhere had everything bad you've ever done get thrown out to the wolves of the world?

as far as the swing changes in his career go, when he switched from harmon to haney, it wasnt even close to being as drastic as a swing change as it is with foley. personally, i think he is getting the foley swing down, nobody hit the ball as good as he did at the masters or doral. his short game was lacking at those tournaments, which is hard to believe because he is the greatest short game player golf has ever seen.

once he is in contention in tournys, i dont think his mental game is the problem as we saw on sunday at augusta. its getting into contention that is the prob, which is what we saw on saturday at augusta. he lost the masters on saturday. its alot harder to go out and post a number an hour before the leaders finish than it is to see #'s posted and play to that number.

your on crack and know absolutely zero about golf if you think the swing change has nothing to do with his winless drought. we've been through this before where people start bashing him for not winning, then he gets his shit together and everybody that was bashing hides. i doubt he ever completely dominates golf like he used to, but i have no reason to believe he doesnt break jack's record and regain his unquestionable #1 ranking.

who's #1 this week? westwood........wtf has he ever done in his career. how many majors has he won. show me some resumes of golfers that compare to woods and maybe i'll change my mind. i'll be waiting for some resumes

No one has performed better in the last 5 majors than tiger, compare him to anyone...

These are just the actual numbers he is the best.

I'm sure he could golf every week and play in tampa and Houston and get some victories.... But he doesn't need to be and isn't a grinder.
