This latest injury is going to cause Tiger to be out of commission for a few more weeks. Which means when he gets back on his feet again, he'll really have to hump it to get ready for the US Open. Seems like in his 30's he's had more injury setbacks than anything else. This could end up being his biggest downfall in trying to break Nicklaus record.
tiger isnt playing the best golf of everyone right now, but redeyes comment about taking 20 players to win ahead of him is the most uneducated statement ive read from a guy who supposedly knows a thing or two about the sport...ridiculous. if you dont like the guy, then say so, but dont make yourself look so clueless next time you have something to add
Personally, I don't think so. I think his old swing he grew up with took its toll on his knee. I dnt think he ever would have changed his swing if it wasn't doing damage to his knee. But hell who knows, the guy is the size of an NFL cornerback. I read a few years back that he was the strongest athlete that Stanford ever had, pound for pound and I dnt know what the hell pound for pound means.

Tiger was and still is an unbelievable golf talent. Everyone needs to get off his back when he doesn't win every tourney. Sure he is in a slump, but that comeback on Sunday at the Masters was one for the ages. Look for him to win at least one major this year ( I am predicting the British). Same with Phil. Out of all these so called new talents of golf, which one could anyone put ahead of Phil or Tiger? Either one of them will be the favorite for every major for the remaining of the year and probably into next year's majors also. Something has to be said for a golfer who wins a major, then is the favorite to win the next one or next couple. I really don't know the actual odds, but when has a golfer who has won a major outside of phil or tiger and been the favorite for the next one? It is not that unusual for either one of those guys to be the favorite after a major win. Don't be a hater on the two best golfers in the field.
It's always possible he did, even though he has passed a couple drug tests in the past. But the PGA isn't going to come in and surprise a moneymaking breadwinner for the tour like Tiger Woods with a drug test. I'm sure he saw it coming long before he took it. Tiger claims he never took performance enhancing drugs. And I'm just as apt to believe that story too since he's always been a cut above the rest of the tour in his dedication to becoming the greatest golfer in history. So I can see where he could be a maniac in the weight room. It isn't like he couldn't afford the best trainer and facilities to get it done.
Since he last won, how many different golfers have won ? probably more then 20 ! Yes I don't like the guy. Tell you what, before the Open I will give you 20 golfers I would take before Tiger with a chance to win the Open. If I was clueless I would be betting on Tiger to win as a favorite, not betting him-120 to not win a major like I have.

BTW, its alot easier to hedge Rory at 32/1 then anything you can on Tiger because of all of the fools that bet him in the last year and a half. Those are other peoples problems that can't name more then 10 golfers, not mine. No doubt Tiger is a draw, i watch him too. Hate is pretty strong, pretty much dislike here. Yankees though are hate, give you that one. Fact is, you need to get over living in the past. Tiger will never dominate like he did before. He had his time. We can revisit this thread to the end of time and I will keep reminding you of this and you'll keep playing woulda, shoulda, coulda, wishing and praying.
