I'll admit to being Jewish when degeneratedood admits to being Nes!
Anyway, it's still an interesting topic.
Grandparents on one side were Orthodox, other side Conservative [Jews, not voters]. Parents raised us Conservative [separate dishes for meat and dairy, Synagogue on High Holidays, Sabbath was just a Saturday etc.].
I don't believe in the big man in the sky and when you die ya just die, but I think most in my family still believe. I'd rather be wrong about that than right obviously.
Everyone in every generation of my family is or was a democrat and has pulled that lever every election. When I last moved in 2001 I switched to independent.
I'm sure I'm the only one in my family voting for McCain but I'm not thrilled about him.
I know Obama is full of shit but I don't buy that he's a Muslim BS regardless of how many youtube vids of him in Indonesia get posted. I believe both candidates want what's best for America but I think Obama's policies would cause more harm.
The dems were worse in the past for Israel, Carter intentionally and Clinton turning a murderer into a statesman to try to seal his own legacy.
Both repubs and dems will continue to fail to bring peace in the ME because peace will not come to that region until the Arabs accept that Israel is a fact and the Palestinians are not cannon-fodder. Arabs, not the American government, hold the key to peace in the ME.
