I disagree, I think the fact both sides disliked it for different reasons is why it has the potential to work. You do realize Democrats didn't like it because it didn't provide a public option and basically was just a Romney style forced mandate policy? Republicans didn't like it because they simply hate Obama and dislike anything he does.

And can we get over the Pelosi comment, that is getting sooooooooooooooo old. It's 2014. Time to move on.

old or not, that comment stands and makes my point exactly.

They hate Obama because he did things like what he did with obamacare. Barrack had every chance to work with the republicans. Instead, he lied to the people and passed it without knowing what was in it. Passed it just to pass it before he knew he was gonna lose the house in 2010. Thank goodness for the mid terms. Too bad the republicans didn't also take the senate because if they did, Reid couldn't play his games and maybe obama could have saved his legacy.

Instead, more wasted years and the further erosion of the USA and the people's civil liberties. Sad era in US history. He will be remembered as the worst potus ever! Too bad because I was pulling for him initially.

Oh please, there is literally nothing Obama could have done to work with Republicans. The fact they were able to get the public option off the table was significant accomplishment for Repubs. Republicans always complain about everything, that's just their job. They complained about social security, medicare, unemployment insurance, etc, etc. Now you have old Republicans telling people not to touch their social security. It's hilarious. Just a bunch of whiners. Obamacare will be fine. In 10 years people will be saying don't touch my Affordable Care Act and Republicans will be running on the platform that it was their idea.

317 Million Reasons to Love Obamacare

-- That's how many Americans — i.e., all of us — potentially benefit

It’s good to see that Sally covered her ass. She could have used words such as will, would, expected, assuredly but she chose potentially.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the term…

potential
— adj
1. possible but not yet actual.
2. capable of being or becoming but not yet in existence.

So like everything else about Obamacare, it’s pure conjecture and iffy at best.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Remember his election promises as to how he will be the new kind of politician? He will unite congress? He will carry health care debates live on c-span so all Americans can see for themselves? He has done the complete opposite. I wish this wasn't true but it is. I sure hope the republicans take the senate in Nov as well as the house. Maybe then obama can accomplish something in his last 2 years. Clinton was able to. Fingers crossed.

Clinton didn't have to deal with the most radical, psychotic, fringe group of Republican loons in the history of politics. What the Repubs have done to stifle Obama is unprecedented. He literally can't do anything to help this country out because it will be stopped. Obstruct and blame is the name of the Repub game!!

Obamacare will cost large companies between $4,800 and $5,900 more per employee and add hundreds of millions to their overhead, according to a new survey.

The American Health Policy Institute conducted a confidential survey of 100 large employers—those with 10,000 or more employees—asking what costs they expect to incur from Obamacare over the next decade.

Factoring in the health care law’s added mandates, fees, and regulatory burdens, employers anticipate cost hikes between $163 million and $200 million in 2016, a 4.3 percent increase. By 2023, employers will be paying 8.4 percent more than “what they would otherwise be spending” for their employees’ health care.

In the next 10 years, the total cost of Obamacare to all large American employers is estimated to be from $151 billion to $186 billion, according to the study.

really? Remember that you are obviously a democrat and I am neither. Maybe you can't see how you make every possible excuse for your guy while blaming republicans.

I could easily post your comment and change it slightly and it would be more accurate. ----- Republicans didn't have to deal with the most radical, psychotic, fringe group of Democratic loons and potus in the history of politics. What the democrats have done to stifle the congress is unprecedented. The republicans literally can't do anything to help this country out because it will be stopped by Reid and the dems. Obstruct and blame is the name of the Dems game!!

to most objective people (not the mainstream media), that is much more the truth as what has happened since 2009.Both sides are loaded with whiners and baby's. The POTUS has to be the one to get them to work with each other. He's has 6 years now and can't get it done. Fail.
