really? Remember that you are obviously a democrat and I am neither. Maybe you can't see how you make every possible excuse for your guy while blaming republicans.

I could easily post your comment and change it slightly and it would be more accurate. ----- Republicans didn't have to deal with the most radical, psychotic, fringe group of Democratic loons and potus in the history of politics. What the democrats have done to stifle the congress is unprecedented. The republicans literally can't do anything to help this country out because it will be stopped by Reid and the dems. Obstruct and blame is the name of the Dems game!!

to most objective people (not the mainstream media), that is much more the truth as what has happened since 2009.Both sides are loaded with whiners and baby's. The POTUS has to be the one to get them to work with each other. He's has 6 years now and can't get it done. Fail.

It's not an excuse. You can see it in all the data. The Republicans have made Obama do what no President has had to do in the past 40+ years. Not Bush nor Reagan were forced to cut the size of government like Obama has. I'm pro government, I don't really care about parties. What I do care about the uneducated clowns that have infiltrated the Republican party and are preventing anything from getting done because their silly failed ideologies.

I am anti government as I think everyone should be. Yes government does have a roll in society but when it gets too big then its the problem. 17 trillion debt is criminal. That's not all Barrack's fault but he made it worse after criticizing George for racking up so much debt. He has done almost everything that he blamed Bush for doing and has done it worse. Not to mention the lying. Oh the lying. Like I said before, I wanted obama to be a good president. I can say objectively that he isn't. He's a disaster like no other before. Facts support this. The bickering and blaming support it. The lowest approval congress in history supports it. Every indicator supports it. The lies supports it. I can go on and on. I wish it wasn't the case but it is.

What's criminal about it? Because it's a large number and you are afraid of large numbers?

Want to talk about a disaster you should see the Congressional Republicans approval ratings.

How much has President Barack H. Obama grown the size of the U.S. government’s budget since coming into power in January 2009?

If we go by President George W. Bush’s final Fiscal Year 2009 budget, in which the average amount of federal government spending for each year through Fiscal Year 2013 was projected to be $2.732 trillion (in terms of inflation-adjusted, constant 2005 U.S. dollars) and compare that value to the average amount of federal spending that President Obama is currently projecting for both 2012 and 2013 of $3.185 trillion (also in terms of constant 2005 U.S. dollars), we find that President Obama has effected a permanent federal government spending increase of at least $452 billion.

Or in other terms, President Obama has permanently grown the size of the U.S. federal government’s budget by 16.5% during the four years he will have been in office by the end of his first term in office. The federal government’s spending is one-sixth bigger today than it was projected to be at this point four years ago.

There’s even a graph and since we all know how much you like graphs…

its criminal because there is nothing to show for it. Its wasted money like if you took it and used it to smoke salmon up in your neck of the woods. Government can go in debt for certain things but it must be worth the expense of the people's money. Now the government is stuck with 17 trillion debt and everything's worse. That isn't hard to comprehend. There were no "shovel-ready jobs". Government shouldn't be investing in solydra and their likes. Get out of the way and let private business do it, create jobs and use those taxes from those jobs to do government needed things. Its that simple. Government always fucks things up. Always have and always will. They aren't accountable it seems.

and who pays for that? Everyone else. The mom and pop bakery to the walmart employee to the RX mods to the mechanic down the street to the fisherman in Alaska. Those people also paid for solydra, cash for cluckers, the vacations to Hawaii, the spying on americans division and so on.

Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance. - George Bernard Shaw

I know exactly what I'm talking about. The guys on this Poly forum are dumb as shit and you think like them. Maybe you should reconsider your thought process.

you are being an over generalist here. I was referring to wasteful spending. Surely everyone should agree there is no room for it. Regardless of political affiliation. 17 trillion is insane. No other way to say it. It handcuffs futures politicians from doing anything. Then its like a vicious cycle. Like a gambler that is broke who borrows money to go to the track and ends up betting 100-1 long shots. Sounds familiar? We all know has that ends up. Spending bad money after bad money (wasting your money) is insane. Governments think that they have unlimited monies to spend and waste. They are right to a certain degree because there are so many that say what you say, don't hold them accountable and even will re-elect them again. Re Obama in 2012. Geez.

"Give Obama a shot" I said in 2008. Didn't take long to see what a disaster that was going to be and is. Many still in denial. The bar is lowered so much its sad. They work for you. All of you. Boot out the assholes that don't do their job no matter what party.

Run the country like a business I say. Run a surplus and use that money to do good. Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is mucho loco.

The Government is not a business. They should not run or try to run like a business. Their job is to not make a profit. Spending is spending, whether you call it wasteful or not, there are individuals out there that are receiving an income from the Govt. It doesn't disappear. Our monetary system is highly complex and understanding the Governments role in it is difficult. But I assure you, they should be spending much more than they are now and that Government debt is not a problem nor will ever be a problem in our system. If you understand how the system works you will realize we will never pay off the debt, we will continue to increase the debt to infinity, and the Government will need to continue spending more money over time. It's just basic math.

Like I said, this is very complex, you will not get this information from the likes of Sheriff Joe, Acebb, Russ, Dave, Willie, festeringZit, Gas Man, etc. Those guys are some of the dumbest people I have ever come across and what a shocker, they are all conservatives.

And by the way the government does have "unlimited monies" to spend and waste. They will never run out of money.

I will disagree. Huge debts cause all sorts of problems and you know it. Whether is means a lowered credit rating to not having the money to pay for certain things needed. This is common sense. I have heard all this mumbo jumbo that the stimulus should have been even bigger and that's why it failed but that BS. I am not opposed to government going into debt to get certain things done but when its being wasted then every citizen who is paying for it should be outraged. Including you AK. Otherwise things like ghettos, broken down infrastructure, millions more on food stamps etc will only continue to get worse. Sounds familiar? You are wrong about government needs to be more like a business. Of course not exactly like a business but it must live within its means. If it doesn't, you get what you have today.

If you disagree then I suggest you are in denial. Like Obama is. Like Reid is. Like Pelosi is.
