The term "tennis shoes" would throw me for a loop....they are definitely "sneakers" to me.
Soda > pop (my cousins from North Dakota/MT/Vegas use Pop)
Garbage/Trash ehh, could use either way. I've said take the trash out to the garbage can, or take the garbage out to the trash can.
Yard sale
Fire flies (although I've heard them referred to as lightning bugs)
I would get made fun of if I said Y'all.
And call me a yuppie but I use the term bubbler in my house. We have one since i don't want my daughters drinking the town water.
Semi, Tractor Trailer, Eighteen Wheeler....used them all.

everything Zit posted about CT is true, even the fact that we call tag sales "tag sales". Didn't know only 1 1/2 states do that.

I use the expression "beverage" a lot, although that's kinda all encompassing and my kids bust my balls about it

When talking about carbonated sugared flavored beverages, I call them soda

In the Marines we had to call tennis shoes, go fasters. lol

Sneakers sounds very juvenile to me.
