On job this afternoon person I Opened an area for we got talking and he told me he was 3 weeks out from Covid spitting up blood on a ventilator all symptoms and here he is out in public? Asked if he gets tested and said no? Like wtf is he doing, no mask btw??

Masks heard are like putting up a chain link fence to stop mosquitos from coming in! Interested to see the turn the virus takes after November....

That is the narrative (propaganda) they push, but these masks were designed to stop bacteria, not viruses.

The efficacy of mask wearing is not propaganda, but based on worldwide results, science, testing and common sense. As this thread has shown.

They keep saying if you cough or sneeze a mask will stop droplets... yes it will but a gazillion virus .0000000000000008 of an inch will also get through the mask and go as far or probably farther than the droplets.

No informed person denies that the virus is capable of getting through certain types of masks. But that is irrelevant to the point that mask wearing is effective in reducing the spread of the virus.

They are accidentaly on purpose over stating deaths ($39,000 extra payment from the govmit to a hospital for each C-19 death in a hospital) and now new infections are being overstated for the "SECOND WAVE!!!" (lately CDC admitted double counting C-19 tests and antibody tests).

These facts will all trickle out after the election... will take awhile.

All irrelevant to the topic of masks being effective & addressed in multiple other threads.

"Can you reuse a disposable mask? How many times?"

https://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/face-mask-stow-reuse-1.5675473

While cloth masks are designed to be washed and reused, most medical-style disposable masks are officially designed for a single use — especially in higher-risk environments.

But Kumar says you can reuse them, especially if you're just out and about in an area with a low prevalence of COVID-19.

Between uses, he recommends leaving the mask in a paper bag for at least three days. During that time, any virus on the mask will gradually decrease.

He says it would be "perfectly reasonable" to have five to seven masks that are rotated into use on subsequent days.

How many times can you reuse a disposable medical-style mask?

Kumar says with this type of mask, what you see is what you get, so you can reuse it until it's dirty, worn or damaged.

"Obviously, you don't want to reuse a mask that's soiled," he says.

N95 masks can also be reused, Kumar says.

... Medical-style disposable masks can be steamed or exposed to sunlight to kill the virus more quickly, Kumar says.

No, that's the SCIENCE. The virus spreads most frequently via aspirated water droplets when people sneeze, cough, talk, and breath.

The masks reduce the amount of aerosol from breathing/talking/coughing/etc when worn properly. Therefore you are less likely to aspirate and spread the virus even when you feel fine and are without symptoms.

Pretty fucking basic science

Masks don’t work

trump,

-Projects conflicting "maybe they work, maybe they don't" attitude on masks

-Stresses that masks are voluntary, but he won't wear one, against recommendations

-Says the government is allowing the states to implement mask rules

-Praises protestors in blue cities/states who don't want to wear masks

-Wears a mask for the first time, thinks it makes him look like the Lone Ranger

-Claims he's always been pro-mask

-Holds rallies & events with no mask policy enforcement

-Gets pissed off at reporters for wearing masks

Hey remember when Hillary was too emotional to be the president? Is there any bigger bitch than Mango Mussolini?
