If I was donating money to every campaign I would quit giving to Cruz, Paul, Huckabee, and Trump tomorrow.

Although I'm thinking this Frank Luntz focus group might be the nights biggest losers. Where do they find these stiffs?

My theory on Trump is that he will continue to lead with his brash, polictically incorrect approach. People like to hear him talk.

In the end though... I think he has no intention of even running. Behind closed doors he is or will align himself with whomever he wants to win and then bow out of the race... asking his supporters to get behind nominee "x".

All of his antics up to this point are simply marketing. Business 101. Giving the majority what they want to hear and garnering votes for whomever he will hand his supporters off too. It's coming. I'm tellin ya now. He will single handedly decide who the GOP nominee will be.

I think a lot of young people were watching, because of the Trump factor, drinking games, were going around twitter facebook.

Yeah I dunno. Was Luntz focus group shown on TV? Not sure what the demo of that was but the ones I've seen of primary voters mostly skew older than Rand's liberty crowd.

Megyn Kelly blindsided him with the derogatory terms towards women and he was pissed. I believe he has peaked and you will start to see a slide after tonight. Pubs were bending over backwards not trying to piss him off. His schtick is starting to wear thin

Trump will be able to play it that Fox News was targeting him with their questions, that they are the establishment trying to bring him down. So far, he's the Teflon Don, and nothing sticks. Also, his 2 closest competitors, Walker and Bush had mediocre to poor nights. Be interesting to see the polls in about 2 weeks.

Yeah it's on FOX right after the debate. And they were all old people, they weren't really going after Paul, they were after Trump. Everyone that was voting for Trump is now voting for Cruz. I call Staged Bull Shit.

Rand didn't do as well as his father that's for sure, but he stood out on his liberty message. Ron Paul used to crush these debates.

If I was Hillary I would encourage all my supporters to change registration for the primary and vote Trump.

A rubio/kasich ticket is a winner for the GOP. I'm not sure how many other combos on that stage are.

Spoken like a doctrinaire democrat of course you want Rubio to face Mrs. Clinton, though Kasich would be a good VP
to balance the Republican ticket.

Without reading a single post in this thread my observations.

Fox News is a joke. Frank Luntz focus group is less then worthless.

The Donald not ready for the big time.

Kasich was the big winner tonight.
This guy has the correct blueprint for the new rebuplican party.
I will be very interested to see the new poll numbers.

I was very pro Donald before tonight and I still respect him. But his shallowness is starting to come out .

But the biggest loser of all was Fix News.

As I said about a week ago, if you're holding a Donnie future, you should take the field for whatever you can get. The fall will be fast and it won't be pretty.

Agree with most of this.

A rubio/Kasich ticket would win in my opinion and it wouldn't upset me at all if they won.
