They did something wrong. They disrespected the White House, the Presidency and the country.

When you think you're more important or smarter than the guy we elected to keep us safe and make the country prosper, you're just a fool.

Obama was a community organizer.

Trump built an empire.

Obama is a smart guy. Just didn't have an appropriate resume' to be President.

I hated the guy but I would have gone to the White House to visit him, if invited.

I agree. Can't say I hated the guy, not a big fan but don't hate the guy. I don't hate Trump either or Bush....but to be real Obama is much smarter than both of them combined. So I wouldn't say it's so foolish to think you are smarter than Trump or Bush. Trump also is a divider. A lot of people can't co sign a president who tries to divide people

The President is responsible for the well being of the whole country and to a large degree the world.

You are responsible for yourself and your little fiefdom.

Yes he is more important than you. Duh.

The Eagles’ behavior is typical of the self-importance and narcissism that have been on display at NFL games as protesting athletes kneel during the national anthem. Everybody is entitled to his political beliefs and opinions. But, just as the White House is the people’s house, so too is the flag of our nation the emblem of the American people. Every time an overpaid, pampered athlete takes a knee in protest, it is plainly, simply, and inescapably an insult.

I want every WHITE player that does not stand for the anthem kicked out of the league forever,no excuses accepted, yes,I am serious

You're an idiot then. Those white people actually raise the eye brows and turn heads. The blacks get ignored or get shut down asap.

You are brainwashed. Sad

I'm brainwashed because I think the President is more important than you, or me for that matter. Truth is he is the most important person in the country, probably the world.

If you don't agree with what I wrote, you are delusional. Sad.

Okay, and what does that flag signify? It stands for freedom. It stands for the ability to protest. As much as people say it disrespects the flag, country, and vets... those people still fail to realize that those veterans went to war for our freedom and for us to have the luxury of protesting. It shouldn't be condemned. This is the greatest country in the world because of that. Don't you realize that? If you want it to be so strict and everyone to take shit so serious about protesting...I think Iraq or somewhere in the middle east will cut your head off for anyone protesting. Maybe you guys would fit in well over there. But here, doesn't affect me....anybody protesting for anything they believe in...I have no problem with it. I don't care what it is. It doesn't affect me.

It’s ironic also that not a single Eagles player kneeled during the anthem in a regular season game last year. A player did kneel during preseason and he was immediately cut from the team. Yet, they are being thrown under the bus as if they did something wrong here.

why are you not getting it ? the Eagles issue has nothing to do with kneeling or the anthem. The team has a whole disrespected the White House. They went from 80 attendees to less then 10 for the event. wanted to change up the time and everything.. Thats why they're getting thrown under the bus.. stick with the issue

The most important people to me are my family, which does include me. I feel sorry for you that Trump is now the most important person in your life. I’m sure Obama was the most important person in your life when he was President too. The comedy continues at this site even beyond the poly forum.

It doesn't bother me. I choose for it to not. What do I give a fuck about somebody protesting for? Only thing people can say is maybe it turned into protesting against the president........And for a second I would say okay maybe that is a little too far. BUT, the man called them son of a bitches. LOL. That is why so many people protested that one week. Sean Payton, the entire Saints organization pretty much. The entire Ravens organization. And on and on. IT wasn't even about the president until he called them all son of a bitches. That's what made so many of them protest. So really half of the blame goes to Trump. Can't say this would have kept going or been as big as it was if Trump didn't get involved.

Their is an opposite side of people who doesn't like how the NFL handled kaperknick or handled the protesting. Their are lots of people refusing to watch because of how they handled those things. So it goes both ways. Both sides not watching affects the revenue. But, the NFL only tries to accommodate the group refusing to watch over a made up narrative. The people refusing to watch because of how they handled things actually have a beef LOL. You don't.

Let me tell you what it is....It is being scared. That is 110000000000000000% it. White people are scared they will lose power in this country. Which is impossible imo but still what everyone is up in arms about. They are afraid this was going to turn into black people gaining more power. You know how they handled that in the late 60's right?

Will be interesting to see how the NFL players react this coming season......will they keep kneeling? We know the media will be all over it.......if they kneel, they can be fined.......I don't think.it will be an issue if they stay on the locker room instead of kneeling in front of fans during the anthem.

Will the NFL keep losing viewer ship & ratings?

As for the Eagles not attending, their loss......they could have made a huge statement if the whole team went & asked to sit down with Trump to talk.

they are protesting the president, not anything else. they would attend the white house if obama was president regardless of police brutality against african americans. its fine if you dont support him but there is a respect for the position and those who held it prior.
