increasing the military budget instead of letting the military weaken under last administration tells a different story. BTW , everyone isn't going into the military..everyone can't or shouldn't.. He is not pointing out disrespect, he is telling the players what they should be doing. There is a big difference.


If a prominent person dies where all government buildings fly their flags at half mast, most businesses will also do the same but they are not required to. If you were one of those businesses that did not want to for a specific reason, would you be ok if the government came and told you that you had to fly your flag at half mast even if you did not want to?

Here's the funny part. This guy doesn't give two fucks about the anthem. If you can't see that he does this because its good for him politically then you have your head in the sand. I'll wager that most of us in this thread care more about the anthem then Trump does. I mean it looked to me like he didn't know the words to it during the bama/ uga game. He seemed to not know god bless america the other day. At the easter egg roll his wife had to nudge him before he put his hand on his heart. There is stories of him not even paying attention to the anthem back in his USFL days. I think that players should stand, however it doesn't upset me if they dont. Either way I have no doubt in my mind that I care more about the national anthem then he does but its literally probably his best political move to date as far as broad support so he keeps doing it.
