The most important people to me are my family, which does include me. I feel sorry for you that Trump is now the most important person in your life. I’m sure Obama was the most important person in your life when he was President too. The comedy continues at this site even beyond the poly forum.

You're a horse guy, wabash. I've noticed that you have a good handle on horseracing. Respect.

But when it comes to the discussions about other things on this board or in the poly forum, you argue like vitterd. That ain't good.

they are protesting the president, not anything else. they would attend the white house if obama was president regardless of police brutality against african americans. its fine if you dont support him but there is a respect for the position and those who held it prior.

Oh so they were protesting the president from day 1? Interesting. Didn't know that.....Do you have anything else that nobody is aware of?

Will be interesting to see how the NFL players react this coming season......will they keep kneeling? We know the media will be all over it.......if they kneel, they can be fined.......I don't think.it will be an issue if they stay on the locker room instead of kneeling in front of fans during the anthem.

Will the NFL keep losing viewer ship & ratings?

As for the Eagles not attending, their loss......they could have made a huge statement if the whole team went & asked to sit down with Trump to talk.

Real talk. I agree about the Eagles could possibly sat down and had a talk. But not here. This was about celebrating a championship. I read Trump was going to make it into a celebration of the American Flag though LOL. Dead ass serious, not sure if any of you read that yet. But, apparently after they said only a small group would attend, Trump said he was going to have it be a celebration about the Flag. LMAO!!!! I don't know if he changed his mind or they said no...but that's funny.

Chris Long is 0 for 2 in attending. Maybe he isn't such an exception just because he is white.

Why? Because I don’t agree with you? To be honest my dog is more important me than the President. Any President. You keep worshipping him and bow to his very command. I have respect for you also when it comes to horses, but you act like you’re brainwashed. Too bad if you don’t like my opinion.

Lol right. Because there are so many black owners who would've gotten upset lol. Cmon man....you know damn well if a white player said he didn't like Obama he would of found a team next week. No white owner was going to blackball a white player for not liking Obama. But, no one did that because Obama isn't ignorant like Trump is, and Obama actually loves sports. Trump looks out of place doing those. I'd much rather go when the president actually has knowledge of the sport lol. AND RESPECTS WHAT I DO. Calling nfl players sons of bitches....isn't very respectful. What do you people honestly expect?

Their is an opposite side of people who doesn't like how the NFL handled kaperknick or handled the protesting. Their are lots of people refusing to watch because of how they handled those things. So it goes both ways. Both sides not watching affects the revenue. But, the NFL only tries to accommodate the group refusing to watch over a made up narrative. The people refusing to watch because of how they handled things actually have a beef LOL. You don't.

Let me tell you what it is....It is being scared. That is 110000000000000000% it. White people are scared they will lose power in this country. Which is impossible imo but still what everyone is up in arms about. They are afraid this was going to turn into black people gaining more power. You know how they handled that in the late 60's right?

I'm sure that list of people is real long on people boycotting the NFL because of the Kapernick treatment. If they supported that idiot with what he was doing with his stance , I don't have a response for that.

You'd be surprised. I honestly didn't even think of that group of people for a while. I'm sure the NFL didn't either. They weren't the ones threatening owners is my guess. They just simply turned away....something that seems a little hard to do for a lot of the people writing letters and saying how they've been coming to games for as long as they can remember and have never seen anything like this....and saying they wont show up in the fall if something isn't done about it. Well something was done, time to stop complaining now.

Can you point out they NFL players that were kneeling last season, that took a stand for "oppression" during this offseason on their own time? Just post the names, no need to deflect (Which is what I expect will happen)

I agree with Trump also and think the players were disrespectful and if I was an owner or the NFL, I would have immediately put in place some kind of harsh penalty to stop it. The difference is me and the millions others on the internet saying it doesn’t mean shit. No one gives a fuck what I think that’s for sure even though I agree with Trumps stance. But when the President(all of them not just Trump) speaks, it’s like fucking E.F. Hutton, “when E.F. Hutton talks, people listen”. Which is why Presidents need to know when to speak and when to shut up.

If Trump had shut up and stayed out of it we would be here talking about how the NFL fucked up, but instead we are here talking about Trump because that’s what he wants. This was a workplace problem and not a Presidential problem. That’s why we are not talking about the NFL now.

What's crazy about how coward the NFL is.....a few years back D Williams wanted to wear pink for his mother's and breast cancer all year. NFL says no way. Tell a player no for a valiant reason but letting these SOBs do their thing, turn away viewers by the masses, and lose money.....yep makes sense to me.

Okay, and what does that flag signify? It stands for freedom. It stands for the ability to protest. As much as people say it disrespects the flag, country, and vets... those people still fail to realize that those veterans went to war for our freedom and for us to have the luxury of protesting. It shouldn't be condemned. This is the greatest country in the world because of that. Don't you realize that? If you want it to be so strict and everyone to take shit so serious about protesting...I think Iraq or somewhere in the middle east will cut your head off for anyone protesting. Maybe you guys would fit in well over there. But here, doesn't affect me....anybody protesting for anything they believe in...I have no problem with it. I don't care what it is. It doesn't affect me.

Don't know how many more times we need to say it before Corky Thatcher finally understands. Protest outside of work not at work. That's the difference.

I'll say it again, professional athletes talking about politics is bad for their personal brand. Black or white.

Not saying I disagree (because I agree, in most cases), but why do you care if their brand is effected?
