All things ras
1. Let me start by saying, I am merely stating some facts here and have no horse in the race.
2. Ed at RAS seems to be a very above board guy who posts his plays and record once a game goes off the board, something more places should do.
3. I have paid for his service in the past and it is amazing how his plays are directly corrolated to quick line movement.
4. His side plays are ok, nothing to write home about.
5. His total plays are quite good, better in the early part of the season and alright later on. Again, just stating hard facts here. He has a knack for finding soft lines early in the season and then the books figure it out.
6. Even if you pay for his picks, you need multiple outs and quick outs to play. Something he discloses to you in his website. Unless you are at a computer, forget about it. Too long to call in from a phone or log in on a cell phone. It really, in my opinion, narrows down how effective the service can be for you.
7. These are my calculations and RAS calculations. In January his totals were 46-29 with his line. His numbers. If you played the final line or after the line moved, it drops down to 41-34, a five game swing which makes it far less profitable. RAS numbers would be less than a five game swing but that is what I have using three popular outs(Pinny, Greek and Heritage). That is a number that RAS may have an issue with but I don't based on actual plays.
8. Those on this website can't complan about free handouts, if you want actual lines and releases, buy his product. It is not too expensive compared to many others out there. Remember, even if you pay, it requires a lot of work and some luck to get the right line. In my opinion, not worth the hassle. I always have wonderred why the plays can't be released the night before after a computer sim is performed.
9. I would be curious to see how his plays would be if you just teased every play 5 points etc,.
My thoughts from afar, others feel free to chime in.
In closing, money management is key and if a line moved too far, let it go and move on to another play.
