My whole point is that you have your beliefs and SBD has his beliefs - and you both have the right to believe what you want.
Both sides, the Republicans and Democrats, have made mistakes during this terrible ordeal. I can understand the mistakes because it is something that we have never faced before. But instead of ALL people trying to figure out a way to "right the ship" both sides and I mean BOTH sides, have made it a personal agenda to blame the other. That seems to be their agenda - so they can come back and say that their side fixed this when it is going to take both sides - the Republicans and the Democrats - to fix this.
I am a registered Republican but I vote for whomever I think will help US the most. In the presidential election, I voted for Trump instead of Clinton ONLY because I felt he was the lesser of two evils. I still feel that way and that is my right to believe that.
In our governors election here in Louisiana, I voted for John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, because I felt he was the best person for the job. I didn't vote for the Republican and I am glad I didn't because, I personally, think Edwards has been the best possible job he can do during these trying times. He has been fantastic - in my opinion - being level headed, not jumping to conclusions, not causing a panic but doing the right thing, etc.
Savage, if you want to argue or disagree with SBD and what he puts in his thread, can't you see that the most logical place to do that would be in THAT thread.
In my opinion, you starting thread after thread trying to prove a point, makes you look delusional and makes it easy for everyone to disagree with you even if you are correct. Just because how you are doing it makes you look like baby who says "Oh yeah, I will prove to everyone that you are wrong".
Continue your argument/discussion in one thread, not 20. In my opinion, that makes you look very insecure and immature.
As you say above - "bring what I deem to be badly needed balance here and tell the other side of the story" but do it in one thread. Doing this the way you are doing makes it easier for everyone to not believe a word you are saying because, in my opinion, starting thread after thread make you look very juvenile and insecure.
baseball dave-first of all my apologies for not responding to this sooner because for some reason I didn't see it until now.
Most importantly you are in error about my opening new threads as of yesterday because I was directed by a moderator not to keep opening
new threads.
I complied and opened the one all thread yesterday, which is the one you are responding to-it appears that you missed that directive.
The other and older threads you see show them bumped up only because people other than me have offered responses in the last couple of days.
Also it appears that you also didn't see the exchanges of exchanges between sbd and myself in his thread.
Up until Tuesday, April 14 at 1:00 PM I did respond to sbd's posts in his thread.
The reason I chose that day to leave and start my own posts is as I announced to everyone in the thread, that I would give him until that Tuesday for
his conspiratorial theories to come true and for God to expose and punish everyone guilty for all the world to see on the spur of the moment.
He also promised that by that date the New Loving One Society/one government where we are all one and where all wars and afflictions would disappear
and the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius would IMMEDIATELY begin.
As it appears that you don't know the entire story, he promised that all of this would transpire within weeks or more likely days of when he began the thread
on March 18.
More importantly he also stated four separate and distinct dates by which all of this would occur- first the spring solstice on around March 19, then
a numerology date of 4/4 and then April 12, which was Easter Sunday and then April 13, which was April Monday.
The whole point is that none of what he predicted came true, no matter how much he tried to claim it had; I decided that I had made my points
and that it was time to move on.
Actually prior to that sbd had asked me politely to leave his thread and I refused, but rather decided I would call his bluff and then leave on my accord if
his "infallible" predictions did not come to pass,
If you know this already, I apologize, but my impression based on reading your post, is that you do not.
If you want to know more, read final post, #1152, which summarizes my feelings toward the thread, a post which is very lengthy for sure,
but will at the very least give you an idea from where I am coming.
ps In retrospect it was an error to open separate threads to begin with, and the one fits all one I am using now makes a lot more sense
for lots of reasons.
