NHL Selection:
1k Vegas -135 (BIG WIN 4-2)
The Panthers are winless in four visits to T-Mobile Arena. Last season, they suffered a 5-3 defeat in Las Vegas. Their defense has struggled for most of the season, so I highly doubt the Panthers’ chances to pull off an upset in this matchup. Florida will close down a tough four-game road trip, while Vegas will take the ice for the first time in five days. Vegas is 13-5 in its last 18 games against the Eastern Conference and 9-2 in its last 11 meetings with the Atlantic Division. On the other side, Florida is 3-6 in its previous nine outings on the road and 2-5 in its past seven tilts versus the Pacific Division.
1k Ottawa -1.5 +165 (BIG WIN 5-2)
The Senators’ special teams will make a difference in this game, as both Ottawa and Arizona average north of 10.0 penalty minutes per game. The Sens are arguably a much better offensive team than the Yotes, who have only scored five goals over their previous four outings. Arizona is 1-6 in its last seven meetings with the Eastern Conference. On the other side, the Senators haven’t impressed either, but they’ve still won four of their last seven contests overall.
