The Money Team Wins - Saturday NHL

Recap 2-0 +$ 5,600 (100%)

3k LA Kings -1.5 +120 (WON)
2k LA Kings Under 6.5 (WON)

The Kings are playing very well at the home of late and have defeated St. Louis the last two times these teams have met, including a 5-1 victory on October 31. Binnington had an early evening after giving up five goals on 19 shots. He may find this contest just as difficult to slow down this hard-charging Los Angeles team that has aspirations of winning the Pacific Division title. This is especially true considering that he has allowed four goals in three of his last five starts.

St. Louis received a big burst of scoring in the victory over San Jose but had been held to 11 total goals over their previous six games. That includes three combined goals in their previous two road contests. St. Louis is a team struggling to find offense, and that six-goal performance should be looked at more as an anomaly than an indicator of what this team could do on a semi-regular basis.

The Money Team Wins - Sunday NHL

Recap 0-1 (-$2,000)

2k Tampa Bay +138 (LOST)

This is going to be a great game between two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. The Hurricanes look to win on their home ice but the Lightning look to bounce back from a few rough losses and control this game. The Lightning, who average 3.52 goals per game, should pile on the goals with Nikita Kucherov, Steven Stamkos, and the rest of the forward unit controlling the puck in the offensive zone and creating open shots with quick centering passes. The Lightning should limit the Hurricanes offense with Victor Hedman, Mikhail Sergachev, and the rest of the defensive unit creating turnovers at the blue line and limiting the Hurricanes from establishing a strong offensive zone presence while goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy blanks shots on the net. The Lightning should win the game and provide great odds in the process as road Underdogs.

The Money Team Wins - Monday NHL

Recap
0-2 (-$4,260)

The last few days in the NHL have been a grind and were better then this for sure!

2k Buffalo +129 (
LOST)

This is going to be a great game between two great teams. The Oilers look to bounce back from a rough loss but the Sabres look to step up and control this game on their home ice. The Sabres, who average 3.74 goals per game, should pile on the goals against an Oilers defense that allows 3.31 goals per game with Tage Thompson, Jeff Skinner, and the rest of the forward unit carrying the puck into the offensive zone and creating open shots with effective puck movement. The Sabres should limit the Oilers' offense with Rasmus Dahlin, Owen Power, and the rest of the defensive unit creating turnovers in the defensive zone and limiting shots on the net, allowing goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to make plenty of big saves. The Sabres should win the game and provide great odds in the process as home Underdogs.

2k Ottawa Senators -1.5 -113 (
LOST)

The most recent record the Senators have got against the Blackhawks is an abysmal one. Ottawa has dropped 21 of its previous 27 meetings versus Chicago, including the very last nine, and has managed to triumph on just one of its past 11 trips to Chi-Town. That said, we are presently talking about two teams with completely different forms. The Sens are sitting just three points outside the playoff bubble of the Eastern Conference, riding a season-long five-game win run, having notched 12 victories in their most recent 16 games, winning with a goal-gap of at least two tallies in eight of them. The Blackhawks, on the other hand, have dropped their last four outings, being beaten by a margin of at least two snipes on each occasion, with a whopping 31 of their previous 36 defeats all being by more than one marker.

The Money Team Wins - Tuesday NHL

Recap 0-0 (100%)

1k Anaheim +253
3k Anaheim +1.5 +105 (10pm)

These teams have split the two games facing each other this season and both were in Anaheim. I am taking a flyer on the Ducks in this game even though they have the second fewest points in the west and Seattle has won four in a row. They have won four of their last five games where their defense has played well. Both games between these teams this season have been by the exact 5-4 score but I look for a more defensive game in this one. Seattle only gave up two goals in their last game and they will play good D again. Still, even ranking last in the NHL in GAA the Ducks defense will play better, which is why they will get the W in this Pacific Division matchup.

Anaheim does not have a very good overall record on the road but is 3-3-1 in their last seven road contests. This is a team that is proven that they can give Seattle everything they can handle, going 3-1-1 lifetime against the Kraken. In fact, the Kraken lost the only contest between these teams in Seattle, losing 7-4 on November 11, 2021. Anaheim may not win this game, but take the 1.5 goals for sure.
