The Coyotes have struggled to defend all season and are a top-5 team in penalty minutes per game. On the other side, the Maple Leaf's are one of the most dangerous offensive teams in the league. Chicago has been completely unable to score goals on the road in their last five contests, recording two total goals in that span. They had been held to one or fewer goals in five straight games. With the Blackhawks unable to score one has to like the Blue Jackets.

I’m not going to stand in front of the Bruins, who have won nine of their previous 13 games on the road. They’ll be fired up to get revenge for that shootout loss against the Kings in December when the Bruins blew a 2-0 lead in the third period. Boston is arguably a better team than LA on both sides of the puck, so give the Bruins at the money line odds. We should see a great game, as both teams have played well lately. The Kings’ offense is doing a good job, but their special teams and defense certainly have room for improvement.

One must also consider that Boston has dominated San Jose beyond just winning games. The Bruins have won three of the last four games by at least two goals, including a 3-1 victory in San Jose last February.

The Sharks started off the new year on the right foot with a victory over Chicago but found themselves trailing by two goals before being able to rally. Boston is not the type of team you rally against, so look for San Jose to fall behind early and stay behind.

Only one of their last six road contests was decided by more than two goals and six of their last seven games overall have been decided by a single goal. Boston playing on back-to-back nights should help Anaheim as well.

The Canadiens are looking to step up on their home ice and win the upcoming game and provide great odds in the process. The problem is that the Kraken are on a four-game winning streak and look to overwhelm the Canadiens on both ends of the ice. The Kraken, who average 3.66 goals per game, should pile on the goals against a Canadiens defense that allows 3.80 goals per game with Andre Burakovsky, Jordan Eberle, and the rest of the forward unit controlling the puck in the offensive zone and creating open shots with quick passes. The Kraken look to limit a Canadiens offense that is only scoring 2.63 goals per game with Adam Larsson, Vince Dunn, and the rest of the defensive unit creating turnovers in the defensive zone and limiting shots on the net, allowing goaltender Martin Jones to make plenty of big saves. The Kraken should win the game and cover the spread in a dominant win on the road.

The Devils arguably carry the best road record in the whole league (14-2-1), but have been so inconsistent lately that they have failed to follow up a victory with another win on the past four occasions, going with just four triumphs in their previous 14 matchups overall. New Jersey has also failed to beat the ‘Canes in any of their last five head-to-head clashes, losing each of its most recent four trips to North Carolina. The Hurricanes, meanwhile, have posted a whopping 42 victories in their past 57 domestic outings, going 9-2 in their previous 11 games against teams from the Eastern Conference.

The Kings, who average 3.27 goals per game, should pile on the goals with Kevin Fiala, Anze Kopitar, and the rest of the forward unit controlling the puck in the offensive zone and creating open shots with strong centering passes. The Kings should also limit the Sharks' offense with Michael Anderson, Drew Doughty, and the rest of the defensive unit stepping up at the blue line and cutting off angles to the net on the rush, allowing goaltender Jonathan Quick to make plenty of big saves. The Kings should win the game and cover the spread in a dominant win on their home ice to win their third game in a row.
